Drimsynie House Hotel

Great place to bring the kids if you're looking for something to do around the area. Could have been better attended -- play areas looked well used. Especially the soft play but the staff were friendly and we had a nice time.

It's an old castle, beautiful. Good shower, bed was fair. Food was not very good. Had to pay £5/day for wifi in room, but even with that it sucked. Claimed "super high speed", in reality, very slow, and often dropped. Very, very weak signal most frustrating

Used to own a caravan on site and Drimsynie was a great highlight on weekends. Two separate bars, a function hall, bowls hall with two snooker tables, ice skating downstairs, swimming pool with jacuzzi and and seasonal curling. When the curling isn't on, they turn the area in to a massive soft play for kids with badminton courts, games and ping pong tables. I loved many weekends here as a kid and later as an adult!

Location is stunning, rooms are very clean and facilities good although on our visit pool closed early due to cloudy water!!! Wi-Fi £5, Don't expect quick service for breakfast while the construction teams are on site. Decor needs updating and main hotel is a building site at the moment, beautiful building but is currently being obscured by a monstrous new hotel extension being built.

Very peaceful place to unwind or you can party the night away your choice

Rooms were so clean, and the restaurant was great. We also had great service from one of the girls in the restaurant. However we went into the Italian up the stairs and we felt that the menu lacked variety as there was nothing we enjoyed eating

Family holiday place. Decent facilities. Basic food and drink but fine. Nearby village and other facilities great.
