Drum Loch Fishery is a 6 Acre Loch and lies in the heart of the Dalswinton Estate . The loch is Stocked with Rainbow trout. The fishing is from the bank only . the loch itself has good access with parking for elderly or less abled Beside the loch , and parking for others a short walk of around 50 metres. The loch has recently come under the control of Dumfries and Galloway Angling Association who also control Salmon and Seatrout fishing on the River Nith and its main tributary the River Cairn Visitors are Welcome .
