Lovely site which was very well maintained. Quick and easy to get into Edinburgh on the bus and also by the really interesting mining museum.

Quite a fancy site. Perfectly located far enough into the country with routes into the surround towns and Edinburgh city centre.

Facilities very modern and perfectly cleaned. The grounds were looked after nicely there was even a little play park for the kids on the site.

The reception is quite friendly and the camping itself is no nonsense and well tended to. Public transport is very close and bus goes every ten minutes Into Edinburgh. Hot showers for no extra cost and it's in a nice area.

Just tried to check the availability of a break and it gives you the option of selecting guest's as adults +25 and young adults 18-25 and then children. I was truthful and selected 2 young adults as me and my fiance who this trip would have been for are 22 and 23 respectfully. I then clicked go only to discover that I had a note to say you have not selected any adults. I was very disappointed to find we would not be able to book this due to our ages. I want to know the reasons behind this. Just because we are younger doesn't mean we are going to go wild and crazy I know plenty of people in there 40s who go on wild crazy holiday.

We had a 2 bedroom lodge, with a sheltered and private decking area, which had a table and chairs and an absolutely fantastic hot tub. The hot tub was roomy and with plenty of jets that could be set from gentle to powerful. It was well maintained daily and immaculately clean.

The lodge was very clean and very spacious throughout, with a double and a twin bedroom, both with ensuite wet rooms, with very good showers and constant hot water. Plenty of storage facilities throughout, comfy lounge area with tv/dvd, a dining area, with table and chairs and a well equipped kitchen. Nicely furnished with everything you'd need.

The whole site seemed to be very well maintained, with clean toilet and shower blocks and washing up areas, for campers and a well stocked basic on site shop. Nice and peaceful location, short walk to the beach and to various well serviced, low priced bus routes, to just about anywhere, including to Edinburgh.

We were given a warm welcome and the staff were very informative about site amenities and also the surrounding areas and amenities. They'd pre - thought about things which may be useful to guests and had amassed all sorts of relevant info.

Good base for a relaxing break, with easy access to Edinburgh but also to escape to the beautiful rugged countryside and coast.

Nice stopover in Musselburgh, if a little pricey. All the usual facilities. Shower block freezing. Ask for pitch away from playground for peace & quiet.
