fantastic by far the best restuarant in this area. the staff are very pleasant, friendly and efficient. we never go anywhere else, no need when the greatest restuarant is on our door step.

Enjoyed here. My parent had caravan there. Go on birthdays or wee hoilday. Great pub and enjoy beers. Can't wait for steak night tomorrow.

It was a huge disappointment to discover on arrival that both glamping pods (there are two) are located at the boundary of the property, within 20 metres of a noisey highway. Other than carefully reading reviews, there is no way of knowing the location of the pods in advance of arrival - they don't even appear on online maps.
The apparent manager was hostile and combative. Again, the manager's attitude has received comment from previous reviewers.

Stayed in glamping pod and it was super. Clean and tidy, the toilet blocks were fine. Only downside is traffic on the road while infrequent is quite loud.

A truly fantastic holiday experience. We spent five days here and it was so enjoyable. The camp-site was quiet and the owner was first class in terms of feeling welcomed. Shower block was clean and regularly reviewed by staff throughout the day. Pride and appearance of the surroundings was clearly evident. In relation to the road. For us life's what you make it and the beautiful scenery, first class hospitality and wonderful holiday far outweighed the traffic which was not as a matter of opinion constantly busy all of the time.

We most definately will return.
