About Drumsheugh Baths Club
Drumsheugh is one of the oldest and finest private swimming clubs in Britain.
Drumsheugh Baths Club Description
We are housed in rather splendid Victorian premises just by the Dean Bridge and we offer our Members a truly unique environment in which to exercise and relax in surroundings that have a very special, and very soothing calm.
Many of our Members have been swimming here all their lives and membership now spans three generations. We are very much about families as well as individuals and our Members look out for each other.
We offer Members individual poolside changing cubicles for hanging their clothes, permanent personal lockers and freshly laundered towels. Members can drop in at any time, as we wash and dry their costumes after every visit.
We also have a comprehensive offering of health and fitness facilities as offer a range of treatments, fitness classes and swimming classes.
We recruit the best possible staff, who do their utmost to know all our Members’ names. We believe that cheerful, well mannered staff add immensely to what we have to offer. From the moment our Members arrive, to the moment they leave, they know that they have been in a very special little world that has been a well loved, well kept secret in Edinburgh since 1882.
In short, we believe that the lengths we go to gives our Members more. So get in touch and find your little haven in the middle of the city.

Family Swim Sunday 23rd December
This Sunday our family swim will have a festive feel to it. All families and children are invited for some fun, games and Christmas music in the pool. 🎅🎄🤽♀️🎼
Christmas Advent Calendar 🎄🎁 🎅
We are running a Christmas advent calendar this year for our members. Each day we will put one note in the advent calendar for a lucky member to win a “stocking filler” gift. At some point during the day a member of staff will add a note in the calendar to say what prize is on offer. If you open the advent calendar slot and no note is in then you have not won, however if you open it up and there is a note, then you have won. If you are lucky enough to win and receive a note, please take to a member of staff to receive your gift.

NEW CLASS TRIAL QI GONG - Friday evening 6.30-7.30pm with Hin Ho Li
We will be trialing new class Qi gong in the gym, taken by Leisure Attendant Hin Ho Li. Hin Ho has many years of experience teaching the practice of Qi gong both in the UK and abroad. ... Qi gong is a form of gentle exercise composed of movements that are repeated several times, often stretching the body, increasing fluid movement (blood, synovial and lymph) and building awareness of how the body moves through space. This class is suitable to all ages and abilities, so why not come along and give it a try. Trial classes will run 5th/19th/26th October.

Sauna/Steam Update
I am happy to announce that the work is complete and the new sauna and steam room are now open!
We are happy to be participating once again in this years Doors Open Days. We shall be opening our doors to the public on Saturday 29th September between 10.00 and 16.00. Volunteers are also welcome to assist us in showing off this special building.
Members Notice - New Class Time
As of next Tuesday (4th September) Yoga with Stephanie will now be on a Tuesday morning from 10.00-11.15. 🧘♀️
