We’re currently trying our best to work to our usual standard amidst the current chaos that everyone is experiencing.
As we are staying open till we are told to close, and as the situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to affect day to day life, we feel it is necessary to implement certain precautions to prevent the spread of the virus, especially due to the uncertainty of its nature. Our usual cleaning routine has and will continue to be above our usual standards to minimi...se any contamination and spread as much as we can
We will be operating with a bare-bones team, as we have deemed it safer for some staff to stay at home. As a result of this, some shifts may be understaffed compared to usual. We will also be reducing the amount of seating and increasing space between seats, in an attempt to keep the capacity manageable and heeding to advice on social distancing.
We will also not be making the majority of our usual cocktails, due to number of staff on shift and to minimise contact with fresh produce such as citrus and egg whites.
If you decide to visit us, please ensure the following:
- Payments are made via card, ideally also start a tab and pay upon leaving. - No sitting or standing at the bar. A hard one for us having many regular barflies, but we’d rather you survive this madness! - That you are aware of the risk of being in the bar and have NO SYMPTOMS, whether related to Coronavirus or not.
We will also be offering the off-sales of our beers and wine, for anyone looking to stock up for the next wee while. This also supports us during this time with products that may go past their best before in the event of our closure.
Opening hours 4:30 to 11:30 going forward.

Here’s wee Tino blending in with our fixed floor, bet you didn’t even realise there was wood under all that dirt! Just in time for the open mic with the Two Daves, kicking off from half 8. P.S nae dragging seats and tables!!

Weird opening/closing hours start of this week for some much needed TLC on our battered floor. Keep an eye on the socials for info!

Ireland vs Italy today is postponed but we’ll be showing England vs Wales from 16:45!
