FRAUD ALERT
As a result of a scam, a victim lost £19,000 to fraudsters yesterday.
Your bank will NEVER contact you and tell you that your account has been compromised and you must move your money into a 'safe' bank account.
... If you get a similar call hang up and contact your bank via a number listed on their website (using a mobile phone where possible).

Guid Nychburris 2019 is well underway & it has even stayed dry.
Have a great day if you are heading out to enjoy the festivities.

Good morning, there are still several cars parked on Newall Terrace, Dumfries. If your car is parked in this area we would be grateful if the car could be moved ASAP to assist those partaking in the Guid Nychburris Association festivities. Thank you.

Good luck to all those taking part in Tough Mudder this weekend.
Turns out being a police officer is perfect training for the event. All those years hopping garden fences and chasing criminals seems to have paid off for Sergeant Graham as he tackles Everest.
