Free 30-minute guided tours are on offer every Sunday afternoon in July and August between 2pm and 4pm each afternoon. Come and hear stories from the 750-year history of Dunblane’s beautiful Cathedral. With some of the oldest oak misericord woodcarvings in the country, magnificent stained glass windows, soaring gothic architecture and beautiful illuminated artworks, Dunblane Cathedral has seen many royal visits over the centuries, been the object of many an artist's eye (incl...uding Turner) and been a part of Scotland's story. So come and enjoy being guided by members of the Society of Friends of Dunblane Cathedral. There's no need to book, just turn up any time between 2pm and 4pm for a free guided tour.

On Monday 1 July at 1pm in Dunblane Cathedral Hall all are welcome to meet Dr Mark Calder, Regional Manager "Embrace the Middle East" and enjoy soup together as he shares about “Running Home 2019.” For most people just finishing a single marathon would be a challenge. Finishing an ultra-marathon would be beyond us. But 14 in one year? That is the challenge that Mark has taken on this year. He will be running pilgrimage routes across the country to raise money and awareness about the even bigger challenge that Iraq’s Christians face as they try to rebuild their country after war. By supporting Mark’s run, you can help make a better future possible for the people of Iraq.

All are welcome to a lecture by Rev. Ian Gilmour “They Had To Sing” at Dunblane Cathedral on Thursday 27 June at 7.30pm. Ian’s study leave took him to America to explore the relationship between slavery and song. There he met and interviewed African Americans who had family connections with the slave era or Civil Rights movement, and learn about the thousands of slave songs which were revived at that time to strengthen resolve of the black community in its fight for freedom and justice.
The lecture will be followed by a brief A.G.M. Of Dunblane Churches Together.
