Words cannot describe how much my husband and I enjoyed our wedding at Dundas Castle. We got married 7th July 2018 and the venue could not have been more perfect. From the initial visit to the wedding itself, the staff continued to impress us with their experience, professionalism and ability to make each and every person feel at home. The venue and the grounds are absolutely beautiful, there was so much to see that out guest were spoilt for choice. We were lucky and got a glorious sunny day and had the ceremony in the courtyard which I highly recommend. After the ceremony the guests wandered the house, grounds (which as a field of llamas!), the Auld Keep before moving to the Pavilion for dinner. Dinner was amazing and there was plenty space for our 145 guests and a great dance floor for our ceilidh. Staying the night made the whole day that bit more magical. We can honestly say it was the best day of our lives and it wouldn't have been possible without the team at Dundas Castle. They made every second enjoyable and we did not have to worry about a thing. I could not recommend Dundas Castle highly enough.

My husband and I had our wedding at Dundas and it was magical; Fleur and Hollie were amazing from the initial planning stages onwards, and did everything in their power to ensure the day was as perfect as it could be. We hired the castle for our wedding 8 years ago and what a fantastic place. The staff were very professional and helped to make it a very memorable experience. After the reception my husband and I stayed in the boat house and our family's stayed in the castle. The castle and grounds are beautiful. We all have very fond memories of our stay.

Closer to the wedding we were handed over to Kirsty who handled everything from that point. Kirsty made sure that everything went smoothly and on the day itself there wasn't a single thing left to arrange, allowing us to completely relax and enjoy the day, focussing on each other instead of logistics. It was remarkably stress free and as a result the day didn't just fly past in a flash - we enjoyed each part to its fullest and in a relaxed way.



So many people commented about how professional and polished the whole service from Dundas was and how amazing the features of the castle was. All throughout the day I felt relieved to have picked this venue. By the end of it we were rather sad to leave Kirsty and the castle and hope there is an opportunity in the future for us to visit again.



Prestige, the obligatory catering company was similarly professional and we didn't have any qualms about not being able to choose someone else. Dom, Chris and David really demonstrated that they know how to deliver the kind of customer service that you would expect at a place like Dundas, similar to what you would expect at Gleneagles.



We used Dundas' recommended suppliers Blue Sky Photography, Planet Flowers and Cherry Tree films, who were all excellent too. They have a great working relationship with the suppliers so coordinated many arrangements directly with them. So much so that we didn't even see Planet people on the day - they sorted out all the flowers completely without any need for input from us on the day.

Sumner and I got married at Dundas Castle just over two weeks ago. While planning the wedding both Sumner and I were in the US or in London, however this did not prove a problem for the team at Dundas. Every step of the way was organised and calm. Then came the day. It was utterly spectacular. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue. The team run by Genevieve were wonderful. They made sure that both Sumner and I and our guests could just relax and have fun. Truly the most perfect day, we could not have wished for better.

My husband and I got married at Dundas Castle on 3rd June 2017, our wedding day was just perfect, we absolutely loved Dundas Castle and the whole team were absolutely amazing, very professional and attentive. The venue is just stunning, I could not have dreamed of a more beautiful wedding venue. We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside in the courtyard and it was lovely, we are very grateful to the team who turned this around quickly to set up when the weather was uncertain. After our ceremony we were able to get photos on the roof and this was amazing, the views are spectacular and the photos from this are lovely. The whole day flowed seamlessly and we have the team to thank for that. I would like to thank Genevieve in particular who was responsible for running our wedding day. Genevieve was fantastic, she is brilliant at her job, very organised and quick to help with everything as well as being lovely and so friendly and approachable. She also helped me in the morning with getting ready and helped me with my dress throughout the day and evening, and was very attentive all day. Genevieve also took our marriage license for us to the registrars which was so helpful, and the following morning at breakfast was just as attentive as on the wedding. My daughter, who works all the time, sent me to scout wedding venues in Scotland. We live in the US but she attended college there and her fiancé is of Scottish heritage. I reviewed 6 venues and Dundas Castle won hands down. It is conveniently located very near the airport and Edinburgh, and the Dakota Hotel is near by for putting up extra guests. Also, it was the right scale: the castle and grounds were exquisite, but not too pretentious. They were married in the romantic Auld Keep, a tower built in 1416, which was a perfect size for our 85 guests. We were able to reserve the entire estate from Friday noon to mid-afternoon on Sunday. All the vendors recommended by the wedding team were top rate: the food was excellent, the Planet Flowers arrangements gorgeous, the Korda String Quartet just beautiful, the band spot on. The fireworks (that everyone managed to keep as a complete surprise from the bride and groom!) and the Fife and Drum band were terrific and added a unique, joyful experience to the wedding. Above all, the staff was far more attentive, cheerful and helpful than we had a right to expect. I know they have done this hundreds of times, but we felt we were the most special wedding party ever. Thank you Dundas, for my daughter's truly magical, fairy tale wedding come true, in a most authentic way! So many guests said it was by far the best wedding they had ever attended

My company just visited Dundas Castle and had a great time. Great food, great surroundings and great entertainment. Elite Falconry helped with an amazing show with their trained birds showing their predator skills.

Dundas was simply great! It's such a beautiful setting, and with so much character, but if you visit, you'll see that for yourself (btw, it's even more gorgeous in person than in pictures!). We had our wedding at Dundas and it was fantastic! The staff were amazing! Can’t thank them enough, especially Gen and Holly! Our day was spectacular, we wouldn’t have changed anything. The castle has a lovely homely atmosphere and everything was planned and delivered with the upmost precision and professionalism.

We got married at Dundas at the weekend and can honestly say that it could not have gone better. The staff could not have done more to help us and exceeded all expectations at every opportunity.



From the initial meeting and leading up to the day, Lisa spent a huge amount of time helping us perfect the planning. Closer to the wedding we were handed over to Kirsty who handled everything from that point. Kirsty made sure that everything went smoothly and on the day itself there wasn't a single thing left to arrange, allowing us to completely relax and enjoy the day, focussing on each other instead of logistics. It was remarkably stress free and as a result the day didn't just fly past in a flash - we enjoyed each part to its fullest and in a relaxed way.



So many people commented about how professional and polished the whole service from Dundas was and how amazing the features of the castle was. All throughout the day I felt relieved to have picked this venue. By the end of it we were rather sad to leave Kirsty and the castle and hope there is an opportunity in the future for us to visit again.



Prestige, the obligatory catering company was similarly professional and we didn't have any qualms about not being able to choose someone else. Dom, Chris and David really demonstrated that they know how to deliver the kind of customer service that you would expect at a place like Dundas, similar to what you would expect at Gleneagles.



We used Dundas' recommended suppliers Blue Sky Photography, Planet Flowers and Cherry Tree films, who were all excellent too. They have a great working relationship with the suppliers so coordinated many arrangements directly with them. So much so that we didn't even see Planet people on the day - they sorted out all the flowers completely without any need for input from us on the day.

Sumner and I got married at Dundas Castle just over two weeks ago. While planning the wedding both Sumner and I were in the US or in London, however this did not prove a problem for the team at Dundas. Every step of the way was organised and calm. Then came the day. It was utterly spectacular. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue. The team run by Genevieve were wonderful. They made sure that both Sumner and I and our guests could just relax and have fun. Truly the most perfect day, we could not have wished for better.

My husband and I got married at Dundas Castle on 3rd June 2017, our wedding day was just perfect, we absolutely loved Dundas Castle and the whole team were absolutely amazing, very professional and attentive. The venue is just stunning, I could not have dreamed of a more beautiful wedding venue. We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside in the courtyard and it was lovely, we are very grateful to the team who turned this around quickly to set up when the weather was uncertain. After our ceremony we were able to get photos on the roof and this was amazing, the views are spectacular and the photos from this are lovely. The whole day flowed seamlessly and we have the team to thank for that. I would like to thank Genevieve in particular who was responsible for running our wedding day. Genevieve was fantastic, she is brilliant at her job, very organised and quick to help with everything as well as being lovely and so friendly and approachable. She also helped me in the morning with getting ready and helped me with my dress throughout the day and evening, and was very attentive all day. Genevieve also took our marriage license for us to the registrars which was so helpful, and the following morning at breakfast was just as attentive as on the wedding. We can't thank you enough Genevieve! So many people also commented on the venue and how excellent the team were in running our wedding day. Thank you so much.

My daughter, who works all the time, sent me to scout wedding venues in Scotland. We live in the US but she attended college there and her fiancé is of Scottish heritage. I reviewed 6 venues and Dundas Castle won hands down. It is conveniently located very near the airport and Edinburgh, and the Dakota Hotel is near by for putting up extra guests. Also, it was the right scale: the castle and grounds were exquisite, but not too pretentious. They were married in the romantic Auld Keep, a tower built in 1416, which was a perfect size for our 85 guests. We were able to reserve the entire estate from Friday noon to mid-afternoon on Sunday. All the vendors recommended by the wedding team were top rate: the food was excellent, the Planet Flowers arrangements gorgeous, the Korda String Quartet just beautiful, the band spot on. The fireworks (that everyone managed to keep as a complete surprise from the bride and groom!) and the Fife and Drum band were terrific and added a unique, joyful experience to the wedding. Above all, the staff was far more attentive, cheerful and helpful than we had a right to expect. I know they have done this hundreds of times, but we felt we were the most special wedding party ever. Thank you Dundas, for my daughter's truly magical, fairy tale wedding come true, in a most authentic way! So many guests said it was by far the best wedding they had ever attended

My company just visited Dundas Castle and had a great time. Great food, great surroundings and great entertainment. Elite Falconry helped with an amazing show with their trained birds showing their predator skills.

Martin and I held our wedding at Dundas Castle on 10th/11th February. We had the most stunning experience and with the help of the team at Dundas, memories that will last a life-time.



Alyson looked after us expertly from day 1 and actually understood us and what we wanted to achieve - our wedding was certainly different from the standard wedding. Everything was embraced and on the day (s), everything was managed fantastically even to the finer details.



I would definitely highly recommend Dundas Castle to hold your event, whatever it may be, you certainly won't be disappointed.

Just had our wedding here over the weekend and it's was the most amazing day ever. The castle is absolutely stunning and guests couldn't believe how perfect the venue was. Genevieve and Fleur our wedding coordinators were excellent on the day and made it all run like a dream. Couldn't recommend this venue enough for a classy dream wedding.

Stunning castle and Auld Keep, spectacular view of the bridges combined with warm, welcoming and professional staff makes it one of my favourite career venues.

From the moment Oliver & I laid eyes on Dundas Castle we knew this was the place where we had to get married! What truly made our Wedding, other than the magnificent Castle itself is without a doubt the wonderful staff! I can't speak highly enough of every member of this fantastic team we had the pleasure of meeting, they went above & beyond to give us the most perfect 2 day wedding we could've possibly hoped for! Even when it got a bit wild the night before the big day, they were fantastic! Genevieve & Morvern in particular throughout the entire process are the absolute dream team. The level of professionalism, care & detail exceeded all our expectations & gave us such peace of mind to ensure we could make the most amazing memories! Dundas was simply great! It's such a beautiful setting, and with so much character, but if you visit, you'll see that for yourself (btw, it's even more gorgeous in person than in pictures!). What we can tell you from our experience of getting married there, is that the staff are phenomenal, and your day will run smoothly, and everyone will be so friendly, and help you feel at home and feel special. The staff kept things moving, helped keep us organised and dealt kindly and easily with all our needs. Our time there was so special, and all our guests have told us how wonderful their time there was. 5 stars, easily.

Dundas is a beautiful wedding venue. Service was smooth and efficient, food excellent and the surroundings stunning. Mr ans Mrs MacGowan as they are now had a fantastic day and we even had tears when it was all over , as it was such a lovely day .

The home is beautifully renovated with historic accents and decor that makes you feel like you've been transported back in time!
