Great location, the beds are comfortable, good facilities and everything is modern. The only drawback is no wifi in rooms, only common areas

Their site advertises for special weekly rates. I emailed them about it and they confirmed that it was so. Several weeks later i went to this hostel to ask if it is possible to view the rooms but they refused, saying that there are people in the dorms. Then they asked how long i intend to stay and when i said a couple of weeks i was told that there is a minimum requirement which is probably longer but they couldn't tell how long exactly, but they took my phone number and promised to call the next day with all information. No one reached to me however so i called myself and was told that they don't have weekly rates anymore and it will be taken off the site. By the time of writing this review it is still there! What a misleading information and no professionalism!

Pretty much what you'd expect from a decent hostel. Large, well equipped kitchen with plenty of room to store your food. Several communal areas - TV room, reading room, games room with WiFi. Dorms have key card locks so they feel secure and there's staff available from 8am to 1am (if not later). Literally in the city centre which has its pluses and minuses - it can get a bit noisy when the crowds leave the pubs.

Pretty much has everything you could ask for from a hostel. Staff is good, rooms are good, has historical significance, it is as centrally located as is physically possible, affordable, fairly clean and well maintained and there is wifi in the wide common rooms...even a piano in the games room! Lovely for anyone passing through or while looking for other accommodation.

Althought there isn't tons to do in Dundee, the hostel is an awesome place. Cool games room. Clean rooms in a nicely renovated old building. Located right in the center of Dundee. Kitchen wasn't super clean, but there were plenty of stoves and ovens and dishes.

A great venue with character. Clean rooms, pleasant staff. We had en-suite and the room was everything we required. We had breakfast at the Tartan Cafe before touring Dundee University. An enjoyable stay. One caveat is guests may need to walk a minute or so if they have left a car parked somewhere overnight.

Plesent staff here, helpful and friendly. Rooms are cheap and you get a good wee room, shared toilet and kitchen doesn't bother me, lounge rooms available also. All in all a good place to book, my 2nd time there and enjoyed it both times.

Very Nice Hostel. We rented the Suite, it's very cozy!

I checked in very late, but was pleasantly greeted by the girl on the desk, and even got a free upgrade. That said the room was freezing cold when I went in, the heating wasn't on at all, but it didn't take too long to warm up. The en suite was great, they made the best of the awkward shape of the building and made it work, a good shower but again was a little cold. The place was clean and tidy throughout and I would recommend
