Dundee Centre Beefeater

What can you say if it said it it on the tin,my wife and i both had steaks which were cooked to perfection and was washed down with a lovely bottle of vino.the service was really quick and friendly,we were only passing through Dundee and was a good find and as we will be back up next month we will be eating here again.

Me and my mum had beautiful lunch her today grandaughter with me and the waiter was great with her and meal was great the £5 lunch well worth the money xx

Lovely Dinner, Staff were Awesome with my Guide Dog and my 6 year old daughter. Very warm welcome and asked a table for 3 me, my daughter and gd .Gave us a bigger table so dog had space, Food was good we will be back daughter loved her cheeseburger and pancakes.

Had steak of course, was perfectly cooked , liked that you could get unlimited double cooked chips and a free salad bowl if you wanted it . Service was quick and staff nice , nice and modern , we will be back !

Had filet steak stack tonight and it was delicious. Cooked exactly as requested. Staff were fab- will certainly go again.

Had breakfast this morning with hubby and 2 kids. Under £9 each for all you can eat buffet style cooked and continental breakfast and kids were free. Fresh and delicious we were all full! Service was great, even got offered a fresh tea in a takeaway cup after not getting peace from kids to enjoy the unlimited refills. Scott the waiter was an absolute delight to deal with. Great way to kick off our easter weekend! Highly recommend

Great service, staff noticed my husband is visually impaired and was offered large print and Braille menus. Staff friendly, drink refill without having to ask. Vegetarian options were great, roasted vegetable linguine delicious as was the veggie lasagne.

We enjoyed a lovely first visit to the new beefeater. We were made very welcome by the staff Marcus and Amanda very warm and friendly. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We chose gammon steak and rump steak from the day time saver menu which was excellent value for money. We also had'puddings a lovely caramel Apple Betty and chocolate brownie. Will visit again soon 😀👍🏼

We had ages to wait, to be fair it was busy , but thought at least our meal would be nicely cooked,but obviously done in a hurry, the broccoli was limp and the sides of the meet were dry and over cooked ,,,

Don’t know if they have changed the chef , or can’t cater for the amount of people that was in , but something needs to be done ,,, Staff were excellent ��

Waited ages on food and it wasn't that busy. Was charged for two kids meals when asking for a bigger portion of pasta which is fair enough but there was no extra garlic bread or vegetables when it came out. Another long wait for the kids desserts and when they did come one was wrong so waited again for pancakes that were awful when they did eventually come.

Waited 45 minutes on food that sat for 15 minutes under the heater, waiter/waitresses seemed to be having to much of a laugh to even notice there was plates full of food waiting to be served. Food came and it was cold, coleslaw appeared more hot than the hot food was. Service rather poor and managers approach when I complained was quite embarrassing. Won’t be back.

Terrible service, offered unlimited coke then could not attract attention of waiting staff for a refill. Even though there were plenty of staff. Had to get up & ask then, still waited 20 minutes with NO REFILL, had to get up and ask again. Apparently it was the computers fault! As for the food it was lukewarm . Will not be back!!

Poor qualify of food after a long wait at 5.30pm, two out of 4 meals sent back- linguine and nachos. Customer service after that was below average, particularly under the circumstances. Two other tables around us also returned food. Very disappointed, normally enjoy a beefeater restaurant experience.

I had my steak ordered to be cooked medium which came out still bleeding, so I was told another steak would be cooked as quick as possible. steak was brought back only to be noticed it was the same steak that I’d sent back, which was now burnt on outside and bleeding inside. I then had to order another steak by this time my family had finished their meals and I had to dine on my own which defeats the meaning of going out together for a meal. I don’t think I will be back in a hurry and this is a shame as the customer service was amazing....

Theres plenty of places to eat in dundee wouldnt particulary go back there

Went for lunch yesterday food was very good and was very pleased that the staff pointed out about the day time savers but the service was slow for a lunchtime

This was our 3 rd time , and it was the most disappointing, first 2 were good ,,,

We had ages to wait, to be fair it was busy , but thought at least our meal would be nicely cooked,but obviously done in a hurry, the broccoli was limp and the sides of the meet were dry and over cooked ,,,

Don’t know if they have changed the chef , or can’t cater for the amount of people that was in , but something needs to be done ,,, Staff were excellent ��

Waited ages on food and it wasn't that busy. Was charged for two kids meals when asking for a bigger portion of pasta which is fair enough but there was no extra garlic bread or vegetables when it came out. Another long wait for the kids desserts and when they did come one was wrong so waited again for pancakes that were awful when they did eventually come.

Waited 45 minutes on food that sat for 15 minutes under the heater, waiter/waitresses seemed to be having to much of a laugh to even notice there was plates full of food waiting to be served. Food came and it was cold, coleslaw appeared more hot than the hot food was. Service rather poor and managers approach when I complained was quite embarrassing. Won’t be back.

Terrible service, offered unlimited coke then could not attract attention of waiting staff for a refill. Even though there were plenty of staff. Had to get up & ask then, still waited 20 minutes with NO REFILL, had to get up and ask again. Apparently it was the computers fault! As for the food it was lukewarm . Will not be back!!

Poor qualify of food after a long wait at 5.30pm, two out of 4 meals sent back- linguine and nachos. Customer service after that was below average, particularly under the circumstances. Two other tables around us also returned food. Very disappointed, normally enjoy a beefeater restaurant experience.

I was in yesterday for a meal with my family after getting out of hospital after being in icu. I had my steak ordered to be cooked medium which came out still bleeding, so I was told another steak would be cooked as quick as possible. steak was brought back only to be noticed it was the same steak that I’d sent back, which was now burnt on outside and bleeding inside. I then had to order another steak by this time my family had finished their meals and I had to dine on my own which defeats the meaning of going out together for a meal. I don’t think I will be back in a hurry and this is a shame as the customer service was amazing....

Friday evening....poor service.....second rate food. Asked for a well done steak.....two attempts to get it right....won't be back at all.
