The Managing Workforce policy (compulsory redundancies, cut in pay protection and restrictions on flexible retirement) imposed in February has now officially been rescinded.
This happened because we campaigned, organised, lobbied and balloted for industrial action along with our colleagues in other unions.
If you took part in these actions we say thank you, this was down to you and your colleagues who took part. If you chose not to take part then you should thank those who did.

Today's lesson is that industrial action (and often just the prospect of it) works. Those who didn't engage in the ballot need to wake up. Those who did can take pride in what they achieved.
