***REMINDER***
No Snow Babies session today. Please check our website for cancelled sessions this week, due to a hockey tournament.

User

Would like to say my kids love it here. My son enjoys playing ice hockey for all, my daughter enjoys the lessons then the 2hrs of ice skating. Can't praise the stewards enough for helping my daughter last Sunday when she fell on ice and split her chin open. It's great that their is paramedics on hand. A great place for kids to learn how to skate, hasn't put my daughter off after her injury will be back to go through it all again on Sunday.

User

Went for my first learn to skate session today and it was great! Can't wait to go again :)

User

We all had a brilliant time here. We came as a big group of adults and children. Lots of our kids have disabilities and it could have been quite a challenging adventure! But the staff were just fantastic! Really helpful and accommodating. We were very impressed with all the different equipment you had to help too! It allowed us all to really enjoyed and will definitely be visiting again! Thanks all :)

User

Visited Gordon at topp sports to get our son new skates , awesome shop ,great service as usual ,well worth a visit ,thanks again Gordon , my wallet is still crying in a corner but we will be back ........

User

My daughter attended a birthday party here today and unfortunately she fell and cut her 2 fingers on the ice skate blade....the staff there were very quick and helped my child calm down when her mum and dad were a state lol....I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all you lovely people at ice arena for your assistants.

User

I was there at a charity event in aid of the charity Bliss.

There was a 12 hour curlathon from 10am to 10pm.

It was a long day but a very fun day too.

Could no have asked for more from the staff, they helped, and made the day too.

User

First ever ice hockey match for me - Dundee Stars V Manchester Storm. What a great night! Thoroughly enjoyed the match, even tho I didn't really know what was going on! Everyone was nice n friendly and I was very impressed that everyone was taking their litter to the bins! Nothing was left lying in the seating area! Thanks, we'll be back!

User

Took my girls here for their first time today they absolutely loved it , they can’t wait to go back again ... think a membership thing would be good here

User

The food was nice and cheap. We went for ice hockey. I did get something thrown at me it hit my glasses really hard . A home fan obviously did like the fact i was in the queue. Itcwould have done serious damage if i hadnt have got my glasses on. But you cant blame the arena for there home fan.

User

My 3 year old loved snow babies but the disco wasn't for us,so busy but nothing wrong except couldn't understand a word that was being said over the mic by the dj.

Could do with music on during snow babies,it's a tad big and echoey for the little ones.

The hired boots are awful though!!so uncomfortable!!

User

Great show for the kids and all the staff made everyone really welcome - but I can't understand why they only take cash.

If card payment was available I would have been able to buy refreshments and actually spend money which I'd imagine the management would prefer I did. Hopefully this will be looked into soon, unless it was a glitch.

Huge queue trying to leave the car park.

User

First time visit for the hockey, the arena is nice enough. The only thing that got me was the difference in price from our own arena almost £10 more for a party of 3. However very pleasant atmosphere.

User

First time in years I've been here. Family day out was enjoyed by all. A bit disappointed with the state of the skates. Both my daughters were cracked up the back and my feet were very uncomfortable. The rink and staff itself were very good. Purchasing ice skates for the family rather than renting.

User

First time at the arena for the hockey will definitely go back staff around the rink happy to help and pleasant even better that we won makes the trip worth it

User

Attend all ice hockey matches and have absolutely no issue with any staff or the rink itself. One thing I don’t understand is the need for alcohol to be brought into the arena - you watch fans’ behaviour deteriorate with every drink consumed plus some folk don’t know what the bins are for so litter left lying about

User

Went to watch ice hockey on Saturday. No issues with arena but the staff at the cafe left me annoyed. Ordered and paid for food (2 chips) and folk in front of me got their food before me. Staff were in the back on their phones and dancing about when there was a queue. When I got my chips they were also cold.

Also they all has long hair which wasn't tied up/covered and they were serving food.

User

Went to Dundee for a hockey weekend as I have done for the previous 7yrs and unfortunately the speed of service in the cafe has not improved, I stood for a full 5 mins before getting served and I was the only person waiting, staff that were cooking looked disorganised and I heard lots of folk saying they had waited up to 20mins for a roll with bacon!!! They would benefit from having staff at the front with numbered order pads and someone at the back cooking instead of everyone doing everything, toilets and seating area always clean on a plus side

User

Turned up for “snow babies” today after checking online that it was definitely on as it’s a BH today. Online confirmed it was on. So we travelled an hour round trip to bring our very excited 3 year old son... when we got there it appeared it wasn’t on, and the receptionist argued with me that the website was updated (which it wasn’t) other very disappointed children and parents arrived who had also checked the website.

It’s all good and easy to update your website once the first parent complains, but this should of been done days ago.

Complete disgrace, young children don’t understand why they can get on and play. You can’t explain that to a 3 year old.

Shocking service ...

User

First time I've ever been & I must say the ice hockey was superb & a great atmosphere however I was within a party of 29 people (23 adults & 6 kids who were there for a meal & I can't stress how poor the food & service was in the sports bar ! The service was so slow the food was cold , tasteless even looked rotton my husband & kids ordered steak pie potatoes & veg they got stew puff pastry & chips ( served cold) that was just one of many complaints never been so disappointed in my life may I add the party that I was with spent in the region of £900 lastnight would Deffo not recommend !
