Dundee Ultimate

Our club trainings are 5: 30-7: 30pm in ISE Hall 2 and 2-4pm on Magdalen Green.

Ultimate is the fastest growing sport in the world. Ultimate is a non-contact sport which can be played both indoors and outdoors. Two teams of 7 players must pass a disc (Frisbee) amongst themselves, working their way up the pitch to score in the end zone, much like American Football. University Ultimate has three divisions; Open (anyone, generally males), Women’s and Mixed.

One of the key aspects of the sport is that there are no referees, instead the players self-officiate. The good nature with which this is done is called spirit of the game and is one of the most important principals of the game.

Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro our club has something to offer you. Most new members to the club have never even heard of the sport, let alone thrown a disc before but we can teach you everything you need to know. As you improve throughout the year you will get the chance to play in a variety of tournaments anywhere from Scotland to further afield. The club itself is one of the best in the UK; consistently attending Division 1 BUCS Nationals in both Outdoors and Indoors.

Of course the club also runs an active social calendar, whether it's heading to the sponsor pub after training, beach tournaments, themed nights out or the Christmas party.
