Dusa The Union

Would by recommend this place. They pride themselves on having zero policies and yet their security do not uphold those policies.

Dundee union is full of tories and turtles hehe propaganda amiright!

I went to the Union with a friend, and unfortunately she got a little worse for ware. I couldn't find her for while and I was very distressed, but thankfully a member of staff came across me and pointed me in the right direction of her. My friend was in trouble as she had had to much to drink and had been sick, they had relocated her to the first aid rooms. I helped her up and we got in a taxi home. My friend was prepared to pay a fiver for the lift, but the very nice Greek lady said that it was courtesy of the union, and let her go home for free. I live in Tayport, and the very helpful Greek lady then let us go to Tayport from Newport as well for free as courtesy of the union. I would just like to say a huge thank you to the staff for taking care of my friend, and notifying me when she was in trouble, and (unlike liquid), helping her get home safely from the crazy night at skint (which btw was very fun, thank you). I will definitely return to the union in the future, I had lots of fun.

Bouncers were extremely rude and confrontational in a situation where they could have just simply been polite and said no in a much, much kinder way? Not hard to have some decent manners. Also was rejected with my own ID & had more than one form of ID. Thanks for a great night 🙄

DUSA is safe, cheap, and good fun. There's a total of two clubs and two bars inside so you'll find something to do. There are often events on which are usually well done.

It's the most happening place with students from. All.over and the best part is in house club and also the sports centre

Very good - far better than St Andrews students union

A fantastic venue for students that has 4 floors of venues all differing in what they offer and their style, Mono - the typical nightclub scene, which frequently hosts big acts for special events like Freshers. Liar bar, a student pub with occasional live acoustic acts and a student pub atmosphere, Air Bar, a more refined environment and cocktail bar, great for people who enjoy more intimate surroundings, and Floor Five, a Jack of all trades club which hosts a mix of rock nights, Flashback - a retro night, and a large variety of different themes.
