Dw Sports Fitness - Dundee

Popped in today to ask for leaflet for my daughter on becoming a gym member. They didn't have any. Asked the girl on the reception desk what price it was for a peak membership. She said she didnt know the prices. Will look elsewhere for a gym with more helpful staff.

getting a membership here is the opposite of trying to get out of it. only took my daughter swimming here,but still paying months after terminating

My wife & myself have been members for a good few years now & enjoy the facilities as well as finding most staff pleasant & helpful. A few months ago we took our granddaughters who were 3yrs old & 11months old at the time swimming one afternoon with no problems whatsoever, but my wife took our oldest granddaughter who has just turned 4yrs old back again yesterday & although a male staff member told her to go ahead through, a female staff member stopped her & asked for a £6 admission fee as you apparently pay for guests & then she brazenly added that she charged a woman &18 the previous day for her three children even though the woman protested!! Is this correct? Plus no receipt was given for the £6. Needless to say we won't be taking the kids back again as that is rediculously expensive. J. Ballie

Yet again, another place I haven't been to. I will have to pay this place a visit and decide.

Would not recommend due to contract. My son who is only 16 doesnt really understand contract agreements etc signed up paid the 6 month then cancelled direct debit as he wasnt going anymore. He recently tried to go back and was told he was due £90 they said as he hadnt cancelled in writing well why didnt they send a letter when direct debit was cancelled instead of letting it mount up. I tried calling explaining he was 16 didnt understand he had to hand in writing could they wave this due to age etc I was told NO if he wanted to go back it would need paid. Silly as they would have been getting more money from him but he will now join another gym so they will benefit instead. Myself and my other 2 friends were also going to join but they have lost us all we are all going to join another gym also my sons friends going to leave dw now and join other gym also

It was a good gym , but cancelling my contract was a headache and they where very uptight about the whole process , really put a bad taste in my mouth

Good gym have to find the right time to go as sometimes it's busy for what equipment you want to use one of the bigger dw gyms as well could do with some new equipment but never the less can get a good work out & if your wanting a personal trainer phil mcintosh is a great personal trainer keeps you on track with your goals & knows what he's doing can't say a bad thing about him

I also struggled with cancellation of my contract. It is easy to sign but not really easy to cancel. I will block my direct debit as i phoned them 2 months ago and they said it is cancelled but it was not.
Everything else was good.
