A challenging project updating this bathroom , moving the loo into the bathroom and moving a partition to allow a shower enclosure . All designed, supplied , main contracted and Installed by E.R Massie and Son Ltd .

After several let downs from another plumber, Gus agreed to come on Monday to fix our broken toilet cistern. He arrived exactly as he said he would ,Turned out to be a bigger more complex job but it was no problem at all. The whole toilet and cistern was ripped out and replaced within the day. He even followed up to check everything was ok and working correctly today. A true tradesman! Cheers.

Another bathroom finished in Gullane

So , we decided to take on Billy Short on 4th February 2019 as an apprentice . Here he is , having installed his first sink and dishwasher#happyatwork#tidyjob#keepupthe goodwork

And I have a few days connecting this electric boiler and Albion unvented cylinder linked to Underfloor heating and 1st floor radiator system .

Another Border Care and Repair job complete thanks to Grant Keenan and Apprentice Billy

A nice wee upgrade on an oil fired central heating and hot water system in a local holiday cottage which involved removing a combi boiler and installing a Grant UK boiler and Albion ultrasteel indirect hot water cylinder.

Another Border Care bathroom nearing completion. This one involved creating a level access shower room in a utility room, re-locating the oil boiler , closing off the door access from the kitchen , re-routing drainage and creating a new opening from a ground floor bedroom with hoist system from bed to shower , w/c and basin .

Thanks for all your messages and help. I have now given a statement to the police and with the number plate and two good witnesses we may have a fighting chance of catching them .

My workshop was targeted for scrap copper yesterday Sunday 20th January mid afternoon . They’ve got a few hundred pounds worth. Reported to the Police but no news yet . Any info or if you see them please inform Police or me .

The start of 2019 was underfloor. Nu-heat system using clip track.

We don’t recommend anything else .

Our week so far .

Hello all. With just over two weeks until Christmas I thought I’d give you all a wee nudge and remind you that 1: You should know where the mains water stopcock is in your house in the event of an emergency . 2: You should know that it’s clockwise to turn it off and it’s worth checking to see that it works . 3: It’s a good time to wrap up that outside tap or shut off the water supply to it before the frost arrives.... 4: If you have oil or lpg heating system , check the levels in your tank and make sure you don’t run out .
