Absolutely love this place. Such excellent food and excellent service. Don't forget to book for dinner as their openings are restricted. Casual lunch outside is also a great alternative.

The location is incredible, Saint Monans is beautiful, and the building is quite different! Cake was delicious!
This place and staff aren't really up to the task. They either don't hold proper licensing or they are doing it catastrophically wrong.
1. Food is served in take away boxes, the amount of waste they must go through is simply unjustifiable. It's all kind of buffet style, "cutlery upstairs".
2. The staff confused quite a few orders, and I was there no more than 30minutes.
3. The place is rather small and when it got busy strangers just sat together. Whilst I'm up for socialising, this isn't normal.
4. Customers have to clean up after themselves.
5. Unbearable plastic chairs and the whole place is just dodgy.
6. For the price I paid, £11 for a smoked salmon with bread and a coffee I'd expect a wee bit more service.
7. They could say a bit more about the cafe, nowhere it states the source of their product, but that's just me, eating fish in a fishing village.
8. The customers at the time were ridiculous, started taking each others food orders because of the mixups staff seemed like they didn't know what to do in such situation.
9. The food was ok, quite a generous portion of salmon and butter with not enough bread.
Atmosphere for dinner .. (Fri / Sat) is great... so is the menu. Love the souffle
