In Lanark for the day from Paisley. Great food, had the mini fish tea, fish batter was light and tasty, great value for money. Young waitress was working very hard on her own. She was very helpful. Would recommend this place.

Substandard food, awful service, unfriendly and rude staff, long wait times for deliveries and excessive charges.

Very grumpy waitress who delighted in bashing and clanking plates and cutlery when clearing nearby tables. Got the drinks order wrong, never got the bread & butter with the single fish which on the menu said two Haddock fillets only got one even after questioning it and no comment from the grumpy one. No apology for the never appearing bread & butter. Had a much better experience at Valerios the previous week and have to say that the usual super efficient and pleasant Claire wasn't in tonight. Need to remember if we go back to check who is on first.
