About Ecas

Ecas supports people in Edinburgh and Lothian who have a physical disability. We’ve done so for over 100 years: promoting equality, choice and participation for people with a physical disability.

Ecas Description

We offer support in the way that works best for people.

- The chance to get out and take part in activities which improve confidence, wellbeing and quality of life (for people over 18)
- Friendship and companionship (befriending) (for people over 18)
- Grants (not loans) to help people (of any age) buy goods and services which they can’t get from public funding

We encourage people of all backgrounds to get involved in our charity. We want to hear from you if:
- you're a young person with a disability interested in helping us develop our youth services
- you're interested in volunteering a couple of hours a week as a befriender
- you're wanting to get involved with one of our Activities
- you're looking for information on Grants
- you're interested in volunteering as a Board member
- you're wanting to know how you can raise funds for Ecas
