Excellent place just a couple of yard from the royal mile. Friendly service, great food and wines. We had freshly made ravioli and risotto, and the best Lemon tart in Edinburgh!!

Lovely place. Great friendly service. Mussels were wonderful. Trout and accompanying salad were a little over dressed although Trout itself was delicious and cooked excellently. Delightful Vinho Verde to boot. Recommended.

The Mushroom soup and Seafood Spaghetti are sooooo delicious. It makes me feel I don't wanna cook spaghetti anymore.

Excellent service, great atmosphere (e.g. music enjoyable, but in the background and not too loud so could still have a conversation), delicious food, especially the sea bream which was done perfectly. Would go back any time.

Bland food, slow service and aggressive staff did not make this a good experience. Honestly, review your recruitment procedure as I have never seen such rude behaviour as from the woman who served us on Saturday.

Lovely selection of seafood dishes, huge pork belly, deliciously tender pig cheek. Don't bother with the potted crab. Good food, nice selection of wines, ales.

Yes, it's as great as everyone says. Ecco Vino's chef creates wonderful meals! We really loved the selection of food and wine options here and the service was super friendly as well. A great experience for our first night in Edinburgh after a long day of traveling.
