The University of Edinburgh students from University of Edinburgh Business School, Geography and Edinburgh College of Art travelled to India this summer to find out about India’s $200bn textile industry. They followed the cotton supply chain, from the fields of Gujurat to the fashion houses of Mumbai.

Congratulations to MA student Jack Summerhayes for being selected as a joint winner of The Landscape Institute's #ChooseLandscape Student Travel Award! Jack will visit the USA to research resilient design schemes.

Two of ECA's tutors, Anna Rhodes and Melissa Orr, have been selected as the Scottish winners of the Gardens for Peace project with a garden design honouring the bravery of Scottish Pipers during the First World War: http://scotland.landscapeinstitute.org/n‚ Ķ/gardens-for-peace/

Three students from our Art, Space and Nature, Advanced Sustainable Design, and Material Practice programmes have collaborated on a new exhibition taking place at The Lighthouse, 7 Sep - 28 Oct.
Justified is an exhibition showcasing the potential of the single, unifying module known as Iteration 21; which, despite its modest form, has the capability of transforming into any number of complex 3-dimensional structures.
