Edinburgh Jenners

Pretty average as a department store, but it's great for finding the various secret cafes that seem to be hidden about the building!!!!

I love Jenners! It has a great variety of clothes for all ages which are well set out in various departments in a most beatiful traditional ambience. I also like the fact that Jenners has many other departments such as jewellery, household stuff, perfumerie and various make up counters (including clinique and urban decay) etc This means I can buy items not only for myself, but also for the house and various other people in the one store. I have always found the staff to be pleasant and helpful; even when I had to return items I`d ordered via the click and collect they were extremely patient and courteous. When I`m in Jenners it`s always a must to stop for a coffee to take in the beautiful views from the window of the restuarant on the top floor......absolutely stunning at any time of the year!

Main restaurant on level 2 has great lunch choices, was very impressed with the pork roast not to mention the fantastic view of the Scot Monument. This is my review purely for their food - shopping wise this place is, what the Brits would call, 'pants'.

The building is lovely and it’s worth a visit.
The shop on itself it’s pretty poor, collections are extremely limited and generally, for ladies are for over 50 with few exception.
Staff is pretty bored, and all but willing to help customer.
