Edinburgh Mountain Film Festival

The EMFF is an annual festival, established 2003, which aims to entertain, enlighten and inspire people who are interested in mountains and adventure. The festival runs over a weekend at the start of February each year, and attracts over 1, 500 outdoor enthusiasts. The festival screens 20-30 of the best adventure films, and has a number of guest presentations from the leading adventurers, climbers and mountaineers in the world. Past speakers have included Sir Chris Bonington, Ueli Steck and Mark Beaumont. The festival is sponsored by Tiso, Mountain Equipment, Alien Rock, Wilderness Scotland and Wilderness Ireland.
