Our courses provide an introduction to academic culture in the UK, focus on key language points, consider different types of academic assessment, and familiarise our new students with the University. We also visit some local tourist attractions and discuss local culture in the past and present. Students are assisted with finding accommodation, setting up bank accounts, and the other practicalities for living in Scotland’s capital city of Edinburgh.

chance to learn about the culture of Scotland, we are able to provide a course that suits your needs. In the past, we have successfully organised summer /winter school programmes for students from countries such as Saudi Arabia, Russia,

Yesterday was a very informative day as Nikki, Kimberly and Kirsty from Streetwork very kindly came to Edinburgh Napier University, Craiglockhart Campus to speak to the students from the City University of Hong Kong about how they work with the homeless in Edinburgh in different ways. We even got to see the Hub, in the city centre, where people can go for all sorts of assistance such as showers and washing machines and first aid. The students found it very enlightening to see how Edinburgh supports its homeless citizens. #Streetwork #helpthehomeless #Edinburgh #internationalstudents #culturalimmersion

It was an honour to be led around ScottishPower Whitelee Windfarm last weekend, the U.K.'s largest! The engineering students from City University of Hong Kong were also surprised to learn that the wind farm was almost as large as Hong Kong itself! Not only does the wind farm help supply electricity to Scotland's 70% renewable energy grid, it's also a nature reserve helping to protect ground nesting birds such as the capercaille among other animals considered to be at risk. A wonderful learning experience! #thefutureisgreen #WhiteleeWindFarm #internationalstudents #windpower #sustainableenergy #EdinburghNapierUniversity

Last Saturday, students from the City University of Hong Kong had the joy of travelling to Glasgow. Here we visited the The National Piping Centre and learned all about the Scottish and international history of bagpipes - and even had a go ourselves! A little out of breath, we also managed a short trip through the city centre to #GeorgeSquare, where the students had time to relax, enjoy the sunshine, and take even more photos! #travel #internationalstudents #PeopleMakeGlasgow

Last week, students from the City University of Hong Kong enjoyed a day in the sun exploring and learning about our beautiful capital as part of the Cultural and Immersion Scheme at #EdinburghNapierUniversity. A few steep hills and a couple (hundred) stairs later, the city orientation tour ended at #EdinburghCastle with many perfect photo opportunities! #culture #internationalstudents #partneruniversities #VisitScotland
