Edinburgh Peace And Justice Centre

About Edinburgh Peace And Justice Centre

Founded in 1980, Edinburgh Peace and Justice Centre has since worked to raise awareness of the complex causes of war and offer a vision of ways to create peace through nonviolence, conflict resolution, human rights, alternatives to war and ecological responsibility. The Centre itself offers a variety of resources to groups and individuals, including monthly P& J News and diary of local events, nonviolence trainings, workshops, speaker series, a mailbox facility and library of books, films, periodicals and DVDs (currently in storage and looking for a home). We also network with numerous groups in Edinburgh and throughout Scotland and campaign for nuclear disarmament and an end to the ongoing wars. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 4pm. All visitors are welcome!
