Edinburgh Rag

Edinburgh RAG is a non-profit society ran for all Edinburgh based universities. With the aim of helping to raise money for a huge number of charities, we do so through a series of exciting and friendly fundraising events. Pop along and get involved today!

Edinburgh RAG stands for Edinburgh Raising and Giving and we are a group of Edinburgh students from all over the city (not just Edinburgh Uni! ) interested in raising as much money as we can for charitable causes. We are one of four teams that make up ESCA, the Edinburgh Students’ Charities Appeal.

Raising money for charity, through whatever means the fundraiser sees fit is not a walk in the park. Edinburgh-RAG serves as a platform for helping turn ideas into action, raising money for worthwhile causes in the process.

We raise money for many different charities and in various ways! If you have an idea we would love to hear it!

Past events include bucket collections, beer festivals, RAG week and our hitchhicking events; Race2Paris, Race2Prague and Race2Amsterdam. This year we need as much support as we can get, with projects such a Race2Paris, Race2??, Meadows marathon, Pub quizzes and RAG week to organise.
