At random occasions few of us played together on all courts known by everyone hooping in Edinburgh. In February 2013 a group of people teamed up through Facebook and a Polish internet forum to play together at Ainslie Park Leisure Centre. After a couple of games we started discussing a possibility of building a team…six months later we have the team.

Why Edinburgh Soldier Bears? It is a tribute to Wojtek Soldier Bear who is a great symbol representing Poles living in Edinburgh. There is a great history of courage, humor and dedication behind this exotic name. To find out more start from this:
