I sustained a bad ankle injury playing basketball and Richard played an instrumental role in my recovery. He understood exactly what treatment was required and was honest when determining how many physio sessions I needed, assuring me that only once per week/fortnight was sufficient. During each session he loosened up my ankle and guided me through some progressively dynamic exercises to strengthen my ankle, that I was to perform at home. Under Richard's knowledgeable and candid guidance, the recovery process progressed extremely quickly. I would highly recommend Richard to anyone in need of a caring, sincere and efficient physiotherapist.

After sustaining a minor, though extremely painful, shoulder injury I googled physios in the city centre and am very happy I contacted Richard.

After a speedy and helpful response to my enquiry, he prescribed a short course of treatment. It was a really positive experience and I am now back to my usual self - and armed with targeted exercises to build strength where I lacked it.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Edinburgh Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy - thank you : )

I have been to Richard for back issues over the course of the past 2 years and he offers a very friendly and professional service. He has never failed to fix my various issues and I wouldn't go to anyone else. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

Really excellent physiotherapy service. I had severe, incapacitating back and leg pain which came on unexpectedly. Medical advice was that this was most likely a slipped disc, so nothing to do but keep moving as much as much as I possibly could - which was not much at all - while taking strong painkillers and waiting for it to heal. Richard worked out that the cause of the problem was a muscle pressing on my femoral nerve. His treatment and exercise programme helped ease the pain and had me back on my feet quickly. Can't thank him enough.

Having suffered from lower back pain for a number of years and seen a number of physios who were unable to identify the source of the problem, Richard very quickly diagnosed a lower body limb length discrepancy, did some soft tissue work and suggested I wear a 6mm insole under my right foot. I'm now walking around pain free and I'm stronger and healthier than ever. Richard's holistic approach and critical eye make him an excellent choice.

After suffering with a pulled hamstring injury for about a year with daily pain, decreased mobility/flexibility, and decreased strength Richard was the first physio who treated the injury and symptoms with a successful resolution. After 5/6 sessions I am pain free for the first time in a year and my strength is soring once again! Thank you!

Treatment with Richard was top drawer. I presented with some long standing complex back and hip issues he addressed them thoroughly and provided me with great relief. My improvements with his treatment were so much greater than I had experienced before.

User

Richard will take the time to really understand the root cause of your issues and treat you accordingly! couldn't recommend more! professional yet friendly - amazing!

Richard Worrall is the most informative, skillful and effective physio I've had in many years of playing sports. Can't recommend highly enough for getting results and helping me understand the purpose of my exercises.
