In Glendevon, our amazing trek leaders work around the clock to look after our herd, which means lunch times are spent in the company of our beautiful ponies. Our ponies are definitely enjoying their summer holiday home in Glendevon! Plenty of sunshine for warm naps and rides.

Some of the fantastic views on our summer rides in Glendevon. We have routes going through woods, cotton fields, hills, and more. Come join us and explore!

The Trek Leaders in training have a busy week ahead of them as they learn all the Glendevon routes and often go on multiple rides per day. After a full day, a cup of tea is definitely needed- the ponies are happy to help with this! The ponies are officially in Glendevon! A big thank you to driver Alan from Eric Gillie Horse Transport Ltd for moving our herd. We will lead public treks from 9th June to the 6th September.

A glorious afternoon exploring with Trek Leaders and discovering some new routes in the Pentlands. We came across the beautiful highland cows and Cal had a snooze on the hitching rail.

It’s a beautiful day here in Edinburgh! Coffee looks out across the city whilst Howdid enjoys a nice roll.
The ponies are all starting to lose their winter coats, so lots of rolling is required to shed the extra fluff! Along with heaps of brushing as well. Two of our trek leaders returned from the field more fluffy than the ponies this morning!

Carlina went to the vet school this week to have her dental and behaved amazingly. The ponies help teach the students important skills in all aspect of equine dental care 🐴

We had a lovely afternoon with these guys today. The trek leaders were great and accommodated the needs of our wee group brilliantly. The setting and the scenery were beautiful. Highly recommended!

This has been the greatest find of our summer. We've been on two treks now and have scheduled a third. The trek leaders are fantastic. They are kind, understanding, knowledgeable and professional. The treks are scenic, the right level for riders' abilities, and a fantastic value for money. For riders who may have only spent their time indoors this is a perfect opportunity to get some outdoor riding time with well-behaved ponies and build some confidence. The ponies are well taken care of and the staff know the specific personality of each pony. My children can't wait for next summer to buy a membership and ride every week!

The whole experience was great, we went out to the fields to catch the ponies then helped brush them and tack them up before riding in the Pentlands. The leaders were friendly and knowledgeable and great with my 4 year old who was bursting with excitement throughout. Thank you

The students we got this week (heather and co) were absolutely amazing with my daughter and me. We went out twice though the week with them and both times had a fantastic time. My daughter had already asked to go back on holiday to the same place next year so she can go pony trekking again. Well done girls, and good luck with the rest of your course! Enjoy your holidays!

Such an amazing ride with the girls in Glen Devon yesterday. My mum and I have both ridden a lot in the past so it was great to have a chance to help tack up and get some good canters. The scenery in Glen Devon is stunning as well. Highly recommend.

Such a good time today with my son and the ponies were impeccably behaved. Jennifer was so good with him and I regained a bit of confidence after an accident a few years ago.

My daughter went for a ride today. It was amazing. Beautiful healthy happy ponys and very nice and competent trekking leaders!!

My daughter (7yrs) loves these horses. Our second visit today to Glendevon, beautiful setting, lovely horses and friendly staff. She is already asking about her next visit already.

Loved this! Lovely ponies and trek leaders/staff. The weather may have dampened out jodhpurs but not the ponies spirits!

Just had an amazing trek with these guys! The trek leaders were so nice and very helpful, the ponies were so lovely although the one i rode was a little cheeky he took care of me very well. Will definitely be coming back for more rides in the future! Thank you so much for an amazing day girls and ponies! <3

I've only been to Glendevon but the setting is absolutely beautiful, amazing hacking up through the hills, forests and burns, ponies are so sweet and very well behaved and the students who run it are always friendly and informative. I love riding here!

I went up to glendevon yesterday with a few friends for a trekk, having been around horses for a long time & owning a couple, the girls that were showing the ropes to my friends were fab, we got great weather, great company and great ponies! Can't wait to go back. Already trying to figure out dates!
