A reminder that we’ll be holding our end of year AGM in just over half an hour!
Feel free to come along and become a part of the committee or if you simply want to vote.

Our Annual General Meeting and awards ceremony is next week TUESDAY 19th of MARCH. This is a very important event for the club as amongst other things, we will be electing next year's committee. So if you want to be on the committee for next year, come along. The AGM itself will be from 6pm in teaching room 11 in Old College.
Here are some details about committee positions that will be up for election.
Captain: In charge of the club. Chairs committee meetings and makes final ...decisions.
Treasurer: In charge of the money. Writes the club budget and responsible for the club account
Secretary: In charge of correspondence. Takes notes at committee meetings and sends emails to club members
Vice-captain: Captains right-hand man. Helps in lots of areas when needed. Responsible for organising Freshers fair
Karting Coordinator: Responsible for running the club karting championship
BUKC and Sponsorship Officer: Responsible for organising the 4 BUKC rounds in semester 2. Also in charge of securing sponsorship
Social Secretary: Responsible for organising club socials around once per month
Equipment and Safety Officer: Responsible for maintaining the lock-up and keeping everything safe
Publicity and Alumni Officer: Responsible for publicising the club and its achievements. Also corresponds with Alumni
Webmaster: Responsible for the club website, Twitter, Instagram and posting events to Facebook
Honorary Vice-president: An advisory role given to a graduating club member
Even if you are not intending to run for a position, come along to support your fellow members and don’t miss out on the awards ceremony. After electing the new committee, we will present the club awards that have been decided by the Club Championship standings. We will then vote on/present other silly awards for various shenanigans that have taken place over the past year.
