What can I say.

We got married at Ednam House Hotel on 14th October, what a truely amazing day.

Leonie was fantastic on the run up to our day.

So helpful and nothing was a problem.

The day itself was stunning, the food was amazing and the staff were so efficient and friendly.

Massive thank you to Jo, you certainly made our day special in every way you could.

Family and friends stayed in the hotel and was thoroughly impressed with everything.

Highly recommend.

We wish to thank Leonie and the General Manager, we had to cancel our upcoming wedding due to a serious illness in the family. Our deposit was refunded without hesitation. Customer service was excellent. Thank you

We were in the Orangery Suite , a square , stone two storey building located in the hotel's garden grounds overlooking the river Tweed . A floor to ceiling picture window allowed us to watch frolicking otters, hunting herons, and foraging oyster catchers. Other windows overlooked the gardens.

The bathroom was modern , new and large.

We ate at the restaurant found the food to be very good. We chose wine picked from a list to try , only 125ml glass, 3 for £10 .

The hotel's various lounges are country house 'shabby chic.... just our taste. Well worth the money for a quite couple of days away.

We held our wedding here last weekend.

The ballroom and grounds are just beautiful, lots of our guests are commenting on such a lovely venue. Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. They quickly turn the room around and they make sure everything is perfect.

We will highly recommend Ednam House Hotel and their wonderful staff.

We had our wedding here and loved it! It was a sunny day and the gardens looked beautiful! Leonie was very helpful on the run up to the wedding and the day ran smoothly without us needing to worry about anything. The staff set up a room for our baby on the morning of the wedding and served us a lovely cooked breakfast in bed the next morning.

We had our wedding hear on the 6/1/18 and it was fantastic I couldn't have asked for more, the staff were lovely, and our master of ceremony's was super, I called him the wizard because he had everything sorted before I had even thought of it,, Ednam house is beautiful and I can't wait to go back�

We got married at Ednam on 19th August 2017, the day was absolutely amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better day! Every single member of staff were excellent! Our dog, Milo was at our day for the whole day and the staff were great with him! Including two members of staff walking him around the grounds for us on our wedding day!



We had most of our guests stay at ednam and all rooms were amazing and all of the food served was incredible! Especially the breakfast and the white chocolate cheesecake!!



Leonie was so helpful throughout our wedding planning! Andrew was our master of ceremonies and he was incredible, what a voice! �



Excellent service provided, we will be back!

Stayed here this weekend. A beautiful hotel in faboulous gardens. They go out of their way to accommodate guests and your dog. We will be back in the summer with teddy.

Me and my wife had our wedding reception here on the 14th of June, from booking it at the begging with Leonie and to the end was fantastic service. We couldn’t of asked for a better day despite Storm hector! Thank you to everyone at Ednam house Hotel. Ben and Lucy

Lovely Hotel with lots of character and country charm. The staff are super friendly and the gardens are amazing. The room we stayed in was decorated in keeping with the rest of the building and was clean and bright. Minor point of inconvience was the shower water pressure and height but otherwise everthing else was great. The food was tasty both dinner and breakfast and served in a lovely conservatory overlooking the gardens and river. When you leave the hotel gates you are right in Kelso which is a lovely market town with nice shops and pubs. Floors Castle is nearby and we enjoyed a lovely day out there as well as visiting Kelso, Melrose and Jedburgh Abbey. Only stayed two days would have very happily stayed longer.

Just had a lush Sunday lunch with my kids they are fussy eatters they accommodated for them goin out there way to make macaroni cheese nice and relaxed atmosphere couldn't fault any of it and very good priced thank you x

Had a great stay here, the hotel is just wonderful from the minute you walk through the front entrance. We were greeted by a warm welcome, both from the staff but also by the log fire. The decor is quaint and fitting for the house. The staff are excellent, we arrived early and this did not cause any problems and were allocated our room right away, we requested a late check out which was arranged with no fuss. The bar and the lounge room both had open fires both day and night. We enjoyed having a drink or two in bar in front of fire overlooking the river Tweed.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and fitted with modern en suite. The breakfast was great with a very good selection. Special thanks to Cameron was very helpful both serving at bar and at breakfast. Would definitely stay here in the future. Thanks to all at Ednam House.

Attended a beautiful wedding last weekend and stayed two nights in beautiful river facing room. Having a 12 week.old and a 6 year old I was a little concerned but the staff really couldn't do enough and really went above and beyond to help us and make us feel welcome. Room was lovely and spacious. Breakfast was amazing and catered for all tastes. We ate there on the Thursday night and the food was wonderful..the children's portions were incredible too. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and again the staff were wonderful with our little ones. Thank.you for a lovely break away for us...perfect little gem of a location hidden away.

Absolutely deserve the AA Rosette food was fabulous and Wilfred looked after us so well in the dining room. Only small comment, please put some soft lights over the garden and to the river so you can see the view whilst eating on dark evenings

A fantastic charming old style hotel with fabulous food & staff. The best black pudding I’ve had served to me in a long time. Very dog friendly. Beautiful setting with stunning views. It was the perfect place to stop whilst visiting Kelso. You could ask for more. Incredibly comfortable place.

3 of us went for afternoon tea and it was lovely. A gorgeous setting with a great view overlooking the river. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel great location and parking, guest room was very spacious, fab new bathroom, roll top bath and walk in shower.

Loved all the various rooms with fires relaxing! Could not get into the bar as a wedding party took over it!

Dinner was on the whole very good excellent canapés I did have a problem with my main meal which was handled badly by the waiter and chef however the manager was very helpful!

Breakfast very good great choice nice staff!

We will be return!

Went for afternoon tea for a friends Birthday looking at your page and trip advisor afternoon tea looked fab but when it arrived it was very disappointing think you need to update photos or at least have it looking the same but won’t rush back and certainly not recommend
