Edzell Playgroup

Thank you to these legends who braved our wonderful Scottish weather(!) today to help realise the huge potential of our outdoor space.
We cannot wait for the children to see it on Monday!

We can't thank Angus Glens Moorland Group enough for such a massive help improving our outdoor area, especially on such a dreich Saturday.... It looks amazing already!!!

What a brilliant Christmas party we had yesterday! A huge thank you to all the parent helpers, our wonderful staff and of course Santa (who drove in especially whilst the Reindeers were resting up 😉)

We have a happy Boiler once again. The problem has reportedly been fixed so we expect to open tomorrow, Tuesday 11th December 2018, as usual. Thank you for you understanding and patience today!

Playgroup will be shut today, Monday 10th December 2018 due to a broken boiler and no running hot water. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Evening all, we have just found out that the boiler at the church has broken down. There have been some temporary heaters put in place, but we will have to assess the situation first thing to make sure it's warm enough/safe enough for the little people tomorrow. We will update you all as soon as possible!

Please help! Edzell Playgroup are in desperate need of donations for our annual Christmas fundraising raffle. A bottle of plonk, voucher for a service you provide, unwanted smellies, food so I can make up a hamper... ANYTHING! Please drop any donations into the blue box at Edzell Church or PM the page and one. Of us can collect.

Hi all - don't forget it's Photo day on Friday & Saturday morning! Please pop your child's name down on the sheet in the Foyer and fill in a booking form if you haven't done so already, alternatively you can message us and we can do it for you. Siblings are welcome to join in👩‍👧‍👦
Any free spaces left will be offered to children outside of Playgroup for a £10 donation 😁📸 🧀

The lucky lady has been contacted and will collect this weekend . Thanks to everyone who entered we raised over £500 for the Playgroup, plus a generous cheque from Edzell Village Improvement Society! Thank you to everyone who helped on the stall, baked goodies, the parents and staff that brought bottles to playgroup since May, a special mention to SPAR Edzell and Edzell Tweed Warehouse - "The Tweedie" who collected bottles... for us, Smithies Deli & Gin Emporium for choosing the gin and all of the people of Edzell who donated bottles so generously.

Wee Liv has been to collect the mystery gin from Smithies Deli & Gin Emporium in Arbroath. Only they know which gin is in the bottle bag from the wide selection of fab Scottish gins in the board! Come and see us tomorrow at the Edzell Gala to give yourself a chance of winning the bottle for just £1 😊

Please drop a bottle (of literally anything) in the baskets if you are popping into the Village. We are a non-profit charity run by a parent committee that use our funds to offer excellent, affordable, local authority approved childcare to our children.
Baskets are situated in the Edzell Spar Shop and Edzell Tweed Warehouse - "The Tweedie"
