We are looking for someone who is a confident communicator, very personable, is computer literate and most of all a team player. ... A comprehensive induction will be given for this position and there is on-going training.
Additional hours will be available to cover holidays. Transport is essential due to our shift pattern. Our reception team work on 5 day shift patterns which are 07:00 until 15:00 or 15:00 until 23:00, including weekends.

Took my mum and her friends here this afternoon for afternoon tea for mums 70th birthday. Mum in a wheelchair and staff were very attentive and supportive to ensure she was in comfortable surroundings. All staff very helpful and genuinely lovely. On to the afternoon tea........great selection of sandwiches and cakes which were fresh and tasty. If you are going for afternoon tea I suggest you skip breakfast cos there is loads to eat. Great bar selection. I was amazed how reasonable my bill was. Super value for money, great atmosphere, surroundings and staff. Thank you so much. You made my mums day.

The whole experience was a positive. From booking the table in advance, arranging a menu, decorating and the food was all amazing. Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble.. Will be back xx

The afternoon tea & cocktails are amazing!

Excellent service & friendly staff. Would highly recommend for an afternoon catching up with friends or a night out sipping cocktails & prosecco.

My daughter and I had afternoon tea today. The 1st time we have visited, the bar is comfortable and very cosy, waitress very attentive. The tea itself was lovely with plenty of it and the variety of fillings in sandwiches was great. The wee scones and cakes were fantastic, what we could not finish, the lovely waitress boxed for us to take away. Look forward to our next visit.

Lovely modern and trendy bar with friendly helpful staff, we will most definitely be back.

Visited to listen to friends band. Being a Saturday it was very busy. Seemed to be enough bar staff. Surprised to see bar stools at the bar when so busy leading to restricted space to 1 get served and 2 make your way past the bar and tables in front. Bar prices seemed fair except for the ВЈ3.60 charged for a pint shandy half n half. Would happily go again though.

Was in on Sunday 1st October for an afternoon tea with family that we had booked as a gift for my Mother in Law and althought the venue is lovely the service was very poor. The 2 girls who were on were rushed off their feet, taking orders, fetching drinks, bringing out food & clearing tables. As we arrived we were shown to our table and our afternoon tea cake stands were brought straight to the table. Almost all the sandwiches were Salmon, which only one person out of a booking of 7 liked. The sandwiches also seemed very "buttery" One girl came and asked us if we wanted our tea we said yes & waited half an hour for this to arrive before being able to order more drinks & asking to see the food menu. We placed our food order and after not too long a wait our food arrived. I had ordered the Chicken Bites, Fries & beans for my little girl. The Chicken Bites were over cooked, when i tried to cut them up for her the chicken inside was dry & tough. She didnt eat any of the chicken. Our food plates were left at the table for a long time so it was about an hour before i could speak to the waitress about the Chicken, she said she would let the kitchen know and the came back to tell me the Chicken bites would be removed from my bill. We asked for the bill which we got promptly as the place had started to quiten down, however the ВЈ20 deposit i had paid to secure our booking wasnt deducted so i had to go and explain to the waitress which she sorted out right away & also deducted a voucher we had. The girls who worked today were friendly & trying their best but they needed more help. This was most of our partys first time at 1808 and the service has put us off returning again.

Really expensive cocktails, I said to the barman my mum didn't like ice as he completely filled the goblet with ice and he just shrugged his shoulders ВЈ13.50 for 2 cocktails and my mum didn't drink hers because of the Ice. The barman asked later did she like the cocktail I explained no because of the ice and again just a "oh ok" no offer to do anything about it, bar staff really don't have much personality think that's why the place doesn't have a good atmosphere. The bar staff can really make a place listening to customers would be a start. Spent a small fortune for a few average cocktails won't be rushing back. But last nights entertainment was brilliant, if it wasn't for that we would have left after first drinks.
