Public speaking is NOT my forty! 🤣 but I put myself out there and did a presentation last night on ‘the journey to 5*’ which went ok I think! If anybody is ever needing advice on eventing related questions please don’t hesitate to ask, I felt very alone being at the top of the sport with nobody to turn too for help so I want to be there for anybody else wanting support. Xx

The beautiful Rossdarragh QS aka ‘El’ is off to her new home. I have really enjoyed producing this mare and definitely had a soft spot for her. From a nervous creature that we bought in the sales ring - by impulse, she turned into a really sweet and talented horse, with a bright future ahead! Best of luck Holly Robertson , you’ll be a winning team! 💕🥂🦄 🎉

The equestrian world working together. Thanks Sally from Aberdeen Riding Club for hosting an equine professionals meeting incorporating social distancing using conference call !! 🤣 it’s nice to have the support from fellow yard owners, coaches, farriers and physios where we are are all working from the same page to try keep some form of ‘normality’ in uncertain times.

When the world has gone crazy.... every cloud has a silver lining - Horizon Silver Dilute KWPN stallion!! This beautiful stallion Rufus is here at Oldtown Equine to start a career in eventing🤞🏻🦄 He currently has a busy career standing at stud producing lovely silver foals!

It’s always a sad day when a homebred leaves to go to his new home, but I couldn’t have found him a better one!!! ‘ MAY DAY’ aka Ozzy was definitely a yard favourite. His goofy big ears and massive personality will be missed! He looked after Paddy when he came back to riding after his hip surgery, took me round 2* and Foxhunter tracks like it was easy and was always the go to horse for anybody to borrow as he is such a saint. 💙 Hope you have the same fun with him Sophia Gerard as we have had. Best of luck 🍀🥂

Busy day at the cabin with 5 horses. Delighted with young mare Rossdarragh QS feeling fab in her first Discovery, taking it all in her stride. Homebred Firestorm ridden by Eleanor Gudgin looking amazing in their first Discovery class too. Graffite feeling keen for 1 down in the newcomers. May Day was on top form going DC in the fox hunter. And Westmur Quality waited all day for the 1.30m but tipped a couple of rails falling unfortunately. Thanks to Eleanor for top groom skills! And Anna Mckenzie for keeping the yard tip top at home. 💕
