We are looking for a strong all-rounder, Handyman to oversee the up-keep and maintenance at Elder and Paton bodyshop. The ideal candidate will have a qualification in one trade – and a broad general skill set. Additional training and qualification can be offered to the right candidate on successful completion of probationary period. You will work 30 hours a week - predominantly Monday to Friday, a willingness and ability to work is essential, along with a ‘can-do’ attitude. About Us Elder and Paton has been established since 1971 , we are a family run business in Perth Scotland..
... The Role:
Working as part of the group finance team based in the head office in Perth the main purpose of this role is to prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for Elder and Paton Perth. Sage Experiance is required.
Main tasks:
• Preparation of the monthly accounts pack. • Balance sheet reconciliations • KPI Packs • Flash turnover figures • Various Insurer reconciliations • Revenue and cost of sale accruals • Overhead management, including general accruals and prepayments • Invoicing of monthly fees • Payroll submissions • VAT return • Assisting in budget preparation • Intercompany reconciliations • Liaising with external auditors
Qualifications/ experience:
• Experience of producing monthly management accounts. • Strong attention to detail • Competent using Microsoft Excel, VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables • Good communication skills • Experience of using AutoFlow would be an advantage but not essential.
