Went for lunch (again!) with family. Food was lovely - nice mix of vegetarian, meat and fish. I was especially keen on the breaded courgette. Special mention for the fantastic cheesecake which came free with the lunch deal. Staff were friendly and attentive, and overall feel was nice and laid back. We will be back in a couple of weeks. Thank you.

We visited yesterday and had some tapas, the food and the atmosphere was perfect, we will most definitely be back.

Great variety of food and good value children’s menu too. The battered prawns and mushroom & spinach croquettes were especially good.

My Spanish boyfriend suggested we go here! And after looking at the menu I was sold! Magra con tomate is his favourite and was amazing, I had never had it before but would again! Meatballs, chicken skewers and asparagus great too! Enjoyed the paella which was on special but agree with another commenter, the prawns should be de-shelled and de-vained! Plus there was only one! Love the chocolate mousse, yum yum! Cheesecake not my favourite but he really enjoyed it! Friendly service! Lovely place! Best Spanish food I have had out in Glasgow EVER! Yum yum!

Have been to Elena's several times now and it never disappoints . Authentic tapas,a great selection of wines,delicious desserts and they even do cocktails. Staff are always very friendly and attentive. The sangria is very good too.😄

Had the sangria and 3 tapas deal last night, added on another 3 tapas and was still amazing value for money. The food is fantastic as is the service. Think this is my 6th or 7th visit and I'll definitely be back!

Had 3 tapas plus the desert of the day for £10. Delicious, authentic and way too much food. Highly recommend it.

First visit and won't be last , was bigger than I imagined and service was great , nice and quick and loved the food. I have to say the Spanish cheesecake was sooo yummy and the wine I had was delish .

Something to highlight is that the chef understands and knows about food allergies, a place where I can safely eat gluten free without any worry at all, and it taste as the real thing!



Will keep coming back again and again. The only place in Scotland that I know so far where real Spanish food is served.

After painting at the Yardwork Graf Jam (SWG) myself and the 5 strong professional eaters and drinkers arrived at Elenas it is nothing short of excellent, service, food and unique atmosphere made our night one to remember for a very long time.

Me, my mum and neice were looking for somewhere to eat, as my mum has recently moved into the area, we had seen this wee place on passing and knew by looking at the outside frontage that it looked inviting, we popped along yesterday, not having a reservation, but we were shown to a table and we were so glad . The staff were lovely, accomodating and friendly. The food was delicious, meatballs so tender, chorizo tasty, Spanish eggs delicious, patatas bravas yummy, crema catalana morish, so glad we were able to get a table, as it was a most enjoyable meal. We will definitely be back, with more people, to try more authentic tapas and perhaps some Spanish vino tinto, but we will remember to reserve a table.

Myself & my husband have been here 4 times, first three times have been really good, excellent service, food lovely & really enjoyed our meal.

We went on Saturday 23rd, it was a birthday treat for me, when we arrived Scottish man behind counter was busy cleaning, told us every table was reserved but we could sit at the side of bar & eat if we would be finished for 1pm & out of restaurant. He took our orders and was very blunt & didn’t look as if he could be bothered with customers.

A few other reserved tables came in & he was more than happy to help and attend to them than us. My husband isn’t one for complaining and he even commented that he felt we weren’t welcome.

Anyways food came and we ate & left. Never have I left a restaurant without leaving a tip but I did this time. Very disappointed as we both really liked our first visits & chatted away with the staff, my husband speaks Portuguese and Spanish so he enjoys when he can chat to Other that speak these languages.

I gave a 3 rating based on previous visits. Sadly I don’t think we will be back for a good while if at all.

Went there valentine's Day which was also my birthday....for the paella...first off restaurant was freezing...there was a vent behind me on the shelf which was blowing through really cold air.... ordered 2 starters...jug of sangria and mojito...ribs came with the sangria 5 minutes later paella came out we were sitting at a table for 2 waitress told us to move our drinks on to the shelf behind us....5 minutes later soup came out...it say perched on the edge of the table... soup was like a bowl of salt...so never ate it.... paella was stodgy....waitress cleared table...got our drinks back on the table... put my scarf on as was freezing... husband wanted coffee and dessert...was given menu...by the time waiter came back....I had my coat on..was so cold got bill and left...noted there was electric heaters in restaurant....was really disappointed...been there a couple of times before...and really enjoyed it.....poor service poor food poor heating... usually you would eat starters then main...need bigger tables....
