From the initial enquiry to collecting the car every part of the process was carried out in an efficient and very professional manner. I was totally confident in John and Andrew's ability to deal with all the DVLA paperwork side regarding changing my private registration to the new vehicle etc. I would have no hesitation in in highly recommending this family run business to any prospective car buyer.

Just bought a beautiful Mercedes c220 Coupe from Elgin Autos, I am extremely pleased with the car and with the excellent service my wife and I received. The four hr drive was definitely worth it; especially as we were not only recommended a nice hotel but were pleasantly surprised to learn that hotel bill had been paid.

Hi , I've just purchased a stunning Range Rover Evoque, we called Elgin Autos for a description of the car and left a deposit without viewing it , went to collect the car today , (23/9/16) and it was sitting in pristine condition, fully Valeted and washed and as described on phone conversation, totally stunning, the father and son were very helpful and trustworthy as we travelled a round trip of 400 miles and as a goodwill gesture they gave us a free tank of fuel, would definitely purchase from Elgin Autos again, many thanks Iain and Bernadette.

I recently purchased a Range Rover Vogue from Elgin Autos at a cost of £63,000. I travelled 465 miles to collect the car because it was the colour and spec I wanted, the car had also been advertised as full service history and had just been serviced at the main dealer. The wheels were the style I wanted, brand new with new tyres (22inch).

On driving the car back the ride was awful on the motorway and I presumed the tyres hadn't been balanced properly when Elgin Autos had the wheels fitted. The next day the service light came on so I contacted Elgin Autos who then found out the car hadn't been serviced. To be fair to them they paid for the service but I cant believe an established dealer did not do the necessary checks before they sold the car to me. The car then went in for its service and I asked them to look into the poor ride. On collecting the vehicle after the service they informed me that the wheels were cheap after market with the wrong size BUDGET tyres (Fitted by Elgin Autos to help the saleability of the car). I have been informed by Land Rover that the warranty was no longer valid due to this. I then spoke to Elgin Autos and spoke to John the son of the owner who I must say is a nice guy but unfortunately his father is not so reasonable. After talking to his father who insisted there was nothing wrong with the tyres (knows more than Land Rover!!!) he then offered me some second hand tyres that had covered 6000 miles. As you can imagine I was not happy with this after paying £63,000 for a car that was running on the wrong tyres. I have since spent and extra £2100 on the exact same wheels (genuine land rover) with the correct tyres.

I spoke to John again (the son) who advised me he would come back to me after talking to his father, he told me he would send an email, 4 days later and still no reply.
