Elite Swimming Academy

So I have had an excellent swimming lesson with the Elite Swimming Academy instructor, Jack at Quy Mill Health Centre and Spa in Stow Cum Quy. He is very knowledgeable on swimming. He helped improve my front crawl and back stroke technique. The lesson was very good source of aerobic exercise, though I wasn’t left feeling exhausted afterwards.



I would highly recommend ESA for recreational swimming and part an exercise/rehabilitation programme. As a Registered Osteopath at Cam Osteopathy Ltd. I would be very happy to work with their instructors to tailor exercise programmes that are appropriate for a patient’s needs; if they should require a low impact and non-weight bearing exercise like swimming as part of patient management plan.

Shahid is a fantastic teacher, very patient and encouraging. We’ve gone from our 3 year old not wanting to get in the water to swimming with a noodle in 4 weeks. I’m amazed by his progress.

My son has swum with Elite at St John's for just over a year, the progress he has made is amazing. He could already swim when he started but his stroke technique and stamina has greatly improved and he is confident and safe in the pool. My son had 7 weeks swimming at dw sports and he loved it , Liam was patient , firm but also fun with my very confident 4 year old , in 7 weeks he can pretty much swim unaided , the only downside is the price and it being paid upfront , we have a few weeks away coming up and paying for it upfront and missing 4/5 lessons would be a waste , definitely would have carried on if it was a pay as you go scheme xx

In our first lesson my 3 year old screamed, cried and took nearly half the lesson to coax into the pool but only 4 lessons in and she is so confident she swims back and forth with the float/woggle and jumps a great distance into the instructor's arms. Tom has been amazing! He is so kind, gentle and good at speaking and encouraging the best out of my youngest. I'm sad we're changing times as he's been so good. I would definitely recommend them.

Highly recommended. Real progression with just one lesson. Worth every penny!!

Excellent value for money when you see the quality of the teaching and the speed of progress over a week when taking an intensive session. My boys went from not wanting to get a wet face to being confident with a float and being on the very brink of swimming independently. I know they would not have come on in this way either with me (too many tears and tantrums when I try!) or with traditional big group lessons. Highly recommended.

Excellent teaching, lovely clean warm private pools, and also great communication from the teaching staff and office staff. Our daughter has progressed from being too scared to enter the pool, to happily jumping in and swimming a length with only one float!
