I visited here Sat 21st June 2014 to have my hair done ready for a big family wedding in England on 5th July. I had the worst haircut and colour ever in my life, which left me distraught because it was cut far too short at the back, it was uneven at the sides, the colour was 'dotted' at the back, and a million miles away from what I requested, all this despite me taking with me a picture depicting the style I wanted. The Linlithgow fair was taking place on the day; I was the only customer in the shop, and the foreign stylist didn't appear confident in what she was doing. She was painfully slow. I returned home, and after a closer review of the haircut in the mirror I was reduced to tears...I had been so looking forward to the wedding, now I just couldn't face even going out the door :-( . My partner returned home and was horrified, but nevertheless attempted to console me; we agreed that the haircut had to be rectified in some way....not easy considering it had been cut so, so, short. I telephoned the salon, and spoke to I think the owner, a woman called Sandra, who agreed to me coming back to have it redone for free. She wasn't particularly apologetic. I returned on Wednesday 25th June, and two stylists attempted to rectify the style but couldn't do a lot with it, and changed the colour to something a bit more acceptable. These two staff members tried hard but conceded there was very little that could be done with it.
Beware when visiting this establishment! Only now, three months afterwards is my hair BEGINNING to look reasonable after this disaster! You have been warned!
