A great place to stay over. Been here for over 2 days now and the staff are very helpful and the place itself is welcoming.
Fantastic food great hotel near town centre and local tourist attractions near too all bus train depots
We turned up as a couple without a reservation and were promptly sat. Service was very good, although we were sat on the one glass table in the restaurant, so eating was difficult as the plates kept racing around the table with every movement. Upon asking for the bill, we then had to wait a further 10 minutes before we eventually asked somebody to take payment, only to be told that card payments are taken at the front desk. Nobody told us this. It made us feel neglected after what was a nice dinner. Make sure you look after guests before cleaning up at the end of the night, we very nearly walked out without paying.
Great place for a family party, had a few here. Good service, good food.
Very nice with distinct dinning rooms which makes it feel quieter and more personal.

4 of us just had a birthday lunch here, it was fantastic. Our first time here. The staff were lovely, it was cosy with real fire. We had haddock, bream and cheddar and mustard pasta for mains. All food was fan. We had 3 courses each plus a soft drink each and coffees and it was only £86. Highly recommend.
