Enjoy some of Ayrshires’s best local produce at its best this weekend! We have something everyone will love on our A La Carte menu or something a little different on our Chef’s Daily Specials 🍤🍅🥗

User

It’s Sunday again folks so come on down to Ellisland for some carvery. Head down and load your plate up with some perfectly cooked Turkey🍗, Ham🍖 or Pork 🐷. Take as much of our selection of Veggies as you can handle and finish it off with our homemade Gravy. The one thing that is needed every Sunday is a carvery.

User

It’s another beautiful day here in Ayr. Why not head down to Ellisland for a spot of lunch and perhaps a cocktail or two. There’s not much else you could ask for on a Monday afternoon. Food, drink and the sunshine☀️☀️🍸🍸🍤🍗

User

Why not come down to Ellisland for our famous carvery. Enjoy some Pork, Ham or Turkey along with all the trimmings. Fill your plate on this wet Sunday afternoon.

User

Come on down the Ellisland this evening for some drinks on the patio. Sun is out and the rain is staying off. Make the most the sun while you can.
Why not challenge the bar staff for a cocktail that’s slightly different. This one is a twist on a bramble shaken with passion fruit liqueur. Light and refreshing, what more are you looking for on a Saturday evening.

User

A raspberry version of the refreshing mint and rum cocktail.... a winner everyday, especially #NationalMojitoDay 🙌

User

Sunday’s are for sundae’s... Costley's Patisserie & Chocolatier

User

The sun has been treating us this week, so why not treat yourself? Round off your week by joining us for drinks or some of Ayrshire’s best al fresco dining on our beautiful patio 🥂

Went for meal after a recommendation from our guest house owner after a long days sightseeing and was greeted by polite knowledgeable staff. We were seated in a stunning, beautifully lit restaurant. The menu was varied and well priced. We had a wonderful meal and would highly recommend this restaurant.

User

We had my husbands funeral tea here on the 19th of Jan the staff were lovely and very attentive. The tea was lovely so thank you all at the Ellisland.

We are home today after a fantastic overnight stay at this beautiful hotel. From our room being amazing, to the friendly, helpful staff and the delicious food means we cannot wait to return for another stay. Cannot recommend it enough.

User

Turned up on the off chance of getting a table and was pleasantly surprised they could accommodate us. We chose our main meal leaving out the starter as we had disused to have a pudding after as they looked scrumpy on the menu. The food was fantastic but after our main course we could not manage a pudding as there was loads of food. The deserts looked fantastic as well but just couldn't manage it. I had the haggis, my husband had the chicken (the curry sauce smelt delicious) and my daughter had the roast beef. We struggled but the plates were clean. Pleasant friendly staff, lovely place and well worth a visit but make sure you are hungry.

User

This was our 4th visit to elisland house hotel and as usual it was lovely. We popped in without booking on Sunday afternoon and although it was very busy the staff found my husband and myself a table. Didn't wait long for our meal and it was delicious, I had touliouse sausages with creamy potatoes and veg, plenty I might add, my husband opted for burger and chips, he also said it was delicious, for dessert I had chocolate torte, with coconut ice cream, what can I say, still thinking about it just now, my husband had sticky toffee pudding and says it hit the spot. For the 2 of us with soft drinks the bill was a reasonable 35 pounds, can't wait for my next visit to Ayr to go back to this lovely hotel and try another dish

User

Really lovely place, we were created as we arrived and although we had not booked they went all out to accommodate us, lunch menu was vast, catering for all tastes from burgers to fish and beautiful steaks, the staff were helpful polite and very inviting which made us fell very welcome.

The food was served looking appetising and were necessary on HOT plates a delicious tasting well proportioned meal which we all enjoyed. This was my first visit here but will be back.

User

Perfect overnight stay and the food and staff were perfect .Thanks and a will stay again

Myself husband and son was up in Ayr for the kids football festival weekend 28th 29th may, come here for lunch after the morning session on the sat. Food was fab, staff also. Manager or supervisor approach us to ask how everything was which was a lovely touch he asked how the flavoured ciders was as it was new blueberry and lime as they only stocked biomes as not a lover Said to try old mout which he said he would, and for that we will be back but will be staying in the lovely hotel too instead of round the corner.Thank you will see you next year for the kids football festival. User

Just had a lovely meal with family, food was superb and the service was excellent.

User

Had a meal on Saturday night. Beautiful food. Service was excellent. Staff very attentive and could not do enough for us. We have been before and will definitely return.

User

Food was delicious and the service excellent, will definitely dine here again

User

Contacted the hotel via email regarding availability, I was called back to inform me that the booking was fine for our arrival, and my table had been reserved for us. We sat out on the patio with a drink before our meal.. the surrounding area is very relaxing and pleasant. Our orders were taken and we were delighted with our choices. All staff were very helpful and friendly. The reason for our visit was due to being given vouchers in a gift. Both our meals were delicious. Never even had room left for dessert. . Sadly there's no change given if using a voucher. . Gutted I missed out on another glass of wine to use up our total value of the voucher... a wee take away cup would've been a good plan.. Thanks to all the staff for our lovely time.

User

Absolutely amazing. Had an our intimate wedding here yesterday and can't praise Scott and his team enough. Food and service were excellent. Thank you for making our day even more perfect.

User

We were at the Ellisland for for a very pleasant Sunday afternoon for food and drinks my only criticism was the meats on the carvery were dried out with the heat lamps the rest was first class

User

Very nice place. My only criticism - gratin of macaroni on the menu?? Macaroni has no place on a menu other than a pub lunch. My husband really enjoyed the crispy skinned sea bass with harissa spiced cous cous. He said it was one of the best meals he has ever had. My peppered chicken was ok but not spectacular. The menu is extensive & it is a nice place overall.

User

There as a party of 10, taking family from America. Excellent meal and service. A few wee hiccups in our order by the kitchen but handled very well by the young man Zi assume to be in charge. Staff pleasant and helpful. All plates cleared and great comments all round. Was here 2 weeks ago and will be back soon. No hesitation in recommending this place .

User

Lovely place and food pretty good. Unfortunately, the taking of our drinks and food order at the same time wasn't good timing on the part of the waitress. Our starters came before our cocktails and wine 2 mins later. I felt we should have had our drinks then order food so a wee bit disappointing.

User

Went in tonight at 6.30. Had booked. John got his main course at 6,45 at 7.15 I was still waiting!! Place wasn’t busy. Asked girl where food was she says I’ll

Go n check n then avoided our table. Ended up walking out and hAd no dinner. Shocking service!!!! Won’t be back in a long time. Used to be a regular.
