We were very proud sponsors of St Columba's Hospice Giant Pub Quiz at the Corn Exchange last night. It was a fabulous night and we hope it raised lots of money for this very worthy cause. There was some very impressive knowledge on show, including from our own MVP Duncan Hamilton (the rest of us were not so V...). In the end we were delighted to finish in the top 10 (just!). Congratulations to the winners, and to everyone involved in organising such a great event.

Poor Catherine hasn't had much of a chance to celebrate her birthday today as she is so busy dealing with lots of transactions which need to settle by tomorrow to avoid the new 3% LBTT Additional Dwelling Supplement which comes in on Friday. She was delighted with her cake though (baked by the lovely Barbara), and plans to have an Official Birthday sometime in the next couple of weeks instead :o) Happy birthday Catherine!
