The last 2-3 years have taught the social impact community that organisational sustainability depends on the level of resilience & agility, robustness in leadership & governance, and a determination to deliver on the mission through innovation & evolvement. These have been and are the common challenges across the sector globally. At em4, we know and have experienced these challenges through our work with our clients in diverse locations, including South Africa, Kenya, India, France & Switzerland. The common denominator has often been the need to invest for improved organisational performance and secure long-term financial sustainability. A question we often ask our clients: do you have the essential structures, strategy, human & financial resources, and resilience to focus on the outcomes and stay the course?
