Emf Running Tours Description
The Edinburgh Marathon Festival Running Tours are guided tours around Scotland’s capital city. Delve into the history, the characters and the scenery of this beautiful city as your highly experienced guide leads you through the narrow streets and hidden areas that you might not get to see otherwise.
More than just a walking tour of Edinburgh, this is a gentle jog through the city, and because of the pace we’re going, we can enjoy seeing a lot more than you would on a walking tour. An EMF Running Tour gives you the perfect opportunity to see some unexpected sights mixed in with the cultural history of the place.
The standard tour starts at the entrance to the impressive Scottish Parliament building in the picturesque setting of Holyrood Park. The first kilometre will take you up to Calton Hill, giving you a panoramic view of the city. The rest of the tour will take you through parts of the old and new town of Edinburgh before you finish up at the Historic Scotland Education Centre.
If you fancy something a bit different you can book a bespoke tour which will start and finish in locations that suit you, and take in the sites you would most like to see. Or if you fancy combining a tour with whisky tasting try the Winter Warmer Tour.
