In early 2005 in the small town of Nantwich, South Cheshire, the idea was had to offer affordable van removals and professional man and van hire services to people with small loads. The most obvious group of people we could aim our at were students, and so we set up a business offering dedicated man with a van removals services for students. We called the service Student Movers and set about creating the best man and van hire service we possibly could within the budget constraints of our student client base.
Through the years we grew from a sole trading enterprise, to a partnership, through VAT registration and beyond.
Having secured a reputation and client base we knew we had to diversify to offer our van removals and professional man and van hire services to everyone not just students. So in the last few years we have been running a trial website to research the sort of work we could generate through a more mainstream van removals or professional man with a van service.
Today in 2013 we are re-launching our entire business as Emrys Long Distance Van Removals. Emrys has Welsh origins and means immortal. This is quite fitting as, with our reputation from our years trading as Student Movers, and our excellent van removals and professional man and van hire services we intend to be around forever…
