A small but lovely place, food is great, wine is reasonably priced and will be going back soon.

You have a bit of a wait for food (20 mins so not too bad) , gives you a chance to sample the atmosphere

Our first time eating here. We just wanted a main meal each. We waited about 15 mins for a table to become available so we had a drink while we stood. Once we were seated and had given our order, our server suggested we have a starter as there would be a lengthy wait for our mains. Just as well we did, as our food took over an hour to arrive. A friend of mine was on a table of 8 next to us and he told me they had been waiting nearly 2 hours for their food....I was mortified to have mine arrive BEFORE the party of 8 and was even more shocked to discover that I had the last Doner meal, depriving one of the party of 8 their meal!! I understand that there was around 40 people inc a private party, but the chefs just couldn't cope. We were offered tea & coffee on the house, but declined. We were, however, given a small free dessert. I found my dinner quite bland and poorly presented - just slapped on the plate. If it wasn't for the polite and apologetic server, we would not have stayed. I think we will try this eaterie again, but will make sure to get there early....
