Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Great experience. Have hired from here before and would do again. The staff are always amazing and the cars are always great.

This is my local Enterprise branch and I've always had really good experiences with the team here. The vehicles have always been nice and new, in good condition and available on time and without issue. I'd definitely recommend it.

So, last year I rented a van really easily. Today they asked me to join the 'car club', but the next day they phoned me that my address was not confirmed. I wanted to provide proof of address but said No. My application has been rejected with a second excuse 'I have a debit card and it's too risky instead I should have a credit card'. I said I've being leaving in U.K. for 4 years, but they are still treating me as a foreigner. Very terrible system, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!

Friendly, helpful staff. Easy to find. Good local transport connections to get there and back to daughter's flat.

Made a reservation and asked for their so much advertised pickup service at 9:45am on Fri April 14th 2017, did so almost two months in advance. It does not work very well though.
By 10:30am I had already tried to phone them 7 times to tell them that if they were busy I could walk there by myself, I was afraid to leave without speaking to them, but nobody would answer. They phoned me finally and picked me up by 10:35am.
I told them that all I wanted was to speak to them on the phone, so if they were busy they wouldn´t have to come to pick me up, that all they had to do to avoid all this was to phone me at 9:40am telling me about the expected pickup delay and I would make the choice: either wait for them or walk to the car rental. All I got as an answer by an otherwise nice guy was: 'our apologies, we were really busy'. When we got to the office there were 5 people attending and 1 client... No upgrade or compensation for the delay. Got the full coverage and a child seat but no mention of a discount any time.
The rest of the trip, the car, the call centre and the drop off at Edimburgh Airport were fine though.

If i colud do i would give it a half a star reward. It's a pity that the one star version is the worst. The staff is amateur and very far from kind.

Great service, well maintained vehicles, and they refunded me for returning my vehicle early. The only car hire i recommend.

Straightforward rental, no mess, no fuss... I've used these guys 3 times now - the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The location is convenient - a short walk from the city centre.
