OUR MISSION. . . . . . . . . Hi there everyone, this is a page for ALL entertainers, musicians, vocalists, comedians, shows and bands etc to promote themselves and fellow entertainers to any venues they may perform in.



By promoting this page /site you are promoting yourself because you are on it. We are not recommending anyone in particular, merely pointing them in the direction of this site /page, where they can see , hear and listen to a huge variety of different acts without any hard sell and then contact the act directly if they are interested.



It is not a site for discussing venues in a negative way or commenting offensively towards any other act, This is just a page where all the talent in Scotland /England /Wales can be found in the one place, commission free, so spread the word, If we do this correctly, it should benefit us all .



Remember there is enough work for everyone, it just makes a lot of sense for FREELANCE acts to unite and recommend other freelance acts to their venues thus giving both parties more gigs, we must all SHARE the page /site to give our venues enough choice so they will not have to use agencies. By doing this it prevents ALL VENUES from being contracted by agencies who exclude ALL FREELANCE Entertainers from these venues. So isn’t it time you got your act listed? As usual we expect ALL members to tell their venues of this site. . . by doing that we will all gain more gigs. . . all your venues MUST get other acts to do the nights you don't do. . . just make sure these other acts come from this site. . . and in doing so. . YOUR ACT will be the other night in ANOTHER MEMBERS VENUE. . . by working together we will ALL HAVE MORE GIGS.





I Would not worry about the poaching issue because you can only do so many gigs in a venue in a year. . . so the venue MUST USE OTHER SOURCES. . . . if we stick together we will ALL make sure these other sources are OUR SITE. . . REMEMBER this is a commission free site, so its a good reason for a Booker to check it out. . . . I AM ALREADY putting stickers with the name Entertainers United Scotland on the back of my cards. . . if WE all send our venues to this site. . . it will mean more work for ALL OF US. . . the word is in the title. . . UNITED.







Do bear in mind that agents in any field live off the the talents of one group and the needs of another. They don't care about music or venues, just the commission available in the negotiation. At the end of the day everybody has a choice but sure any extra cash a venue can save is an incentive for them to use our site /page so please make sure your prices reflect the fact there is no commission charged. Of course the act saves money to. . they no longer need to pay the agencies VAT they cannot claim back, so it is a win /win situation for the venues and the acts.
