Packing up the essentials for Dressage Camp at Twyford Mill Equestrian with Tom Graham. #excited #equiteamdressage

User

Liz has a new found love of dressage, and is turning into a dressage diva. (So much so she’s asked for bling for her birthday). Shes thinking of stopping teaching jumping and xc, and concentrating on dressage coaching!

User

Another brilliant day in the ☀️ with more fabulous riding and lots of smiles (and some tears!). Massive well done to you all. Apologies that I didn’t get many pictures today, having phone issues, so if anyone took any please do share them.😊 A massive thank you to the awesome Kimberly for being a fab camp host, huge thank you to Sarah from Baileys for weighing all of the horses and giving great advice as always, to Jane Beindley from @Horse riding with confidence Scotland and of course to Lindores for welcoming us back. And finally a huge huge well done to Lou who today completed her first ever triathlon and completely nailed it, knocking 15 minutes off her anticipated time. Super proud 😁

User

Our next clothing order is going in tomorrow lunch time, so if you would like to order polos, hoodies, baselayers t shirts, pants or headbands, pm us for an order form. #EquiteamDesigns

The weather was amazing, the ponies (and riders) were all brilliant with lots of smiles! An awesome way to start the #Equiteam season! Please feel free to tag and share pics, but as always we’d love a mention!

User

We will be sending out further information on the April 3 day camps in the next few days. This means we will be putting a clothing order in too, so even if you're not coming to camp you can still order some of our fab range. Brave Pants, Motivational Tshirts, Camp Hoodies and Polos, Headbands and Baselayers. If you'd like an order form and price list please just PM us. Our clothing page Equiteam Designs will soon be open too.

User

Don't forget if you are attending any of our camps or experience days that your horses must be fully vaccinated. Take a look at Lindores Equestrian's policy here. Riders attending Liz's lessons at Dunbog also need their horses to be fully vaccinated. - http://ow.ly/bjj830o8pgc

User

Love this and the same applies to your horses ⭐️

User

I wanted to share this with everyone - because this is real life!! The horse below is not a newly broken 4 year old, but a (my!) 11 year old normally well behaved horse! She is feeling super well and recently has got a bit above her self!! Like humans, horses are not machines and they have good days, bad days, unpredictable days and push boundaries - it’s just part of the challenge. But it doesn’t make them bad, it just means we have to work smarter and the most important... part of this post - ASK FOR HELP when you need it! We all need help and support from the floor. These people are a vital part of your team and don’t underestimate their importance or wait until a bit of cheeky behaviour gets out of hand. Remember guys if it was easy everyone would be doing it...! #RealLife

Wow what can I say with regards to Camp...they are simply awesome and that’s down to Liz and Lou and their utter dedication, passion, knowledge, skills and their love to see people and their ponies thrive and grow! The support these two ladies give you to believe in yourself and push yourself across the three days is something everyone should experience. The other 3rd team member of these camps are your camp mates-knowing you have this team behind you cheering you on, celebrating your successes and achievements along side you, picking you up when your having a moment is utterly priceless and I know I wouldn’t have achieved all I did without these three pillars behind me x

If you are thinking about signing up to one of these camps-stop thinking about it and just do it-you won’t regret it and it’s testimony to the formula and Liz and Lou that campers return time and time again. And if you read this and think “oh I wouldn’t be good enough to do something like that”-just pull on the brave pants and get booked, your horsey journey is waiting for you at camp.

Can not wait to return!

User

What can I say......Amazing, Amazing,Amazing! This camp is a 100% confidence giver to anyone no matter where you are with riding. Liz just excels in teaching and Lou in keeping it all ticking and feeding us fantastic food. Smile, breath, kick on and half halt! I feel Ive achieved so much and my horse has grown in confidence....... thanks guys

User

The remarkable thing about this three day camp was the sheer diversity of riders and horses and Liz’s incredible ability to tailor the experience perfectly to each combination. These included people: starting to ride their child’s pony; returning to riding after decades; getting young horses going; building confidence after a knock back; and wanting to step up their already impressive competition level. There were baby horses, school masters, cobs, arabs, eventers, race horses, show jumpers, angels and not-so-angels. But we all had one thing in common – we all wanted to progress. And we all did.

At six ridden lessons over three days, along with interesting and relevant non ridden sessions, it’s a pretty intense few days. It starts with flatwork (“now let’s see him moving FORWARD”), then pole work, then grid work, then jumping, then cross country (twice!). Whatever level we started at, Liz expanded our comfort zone each session, with so much expertise, kindness and encouragement that we were left bursting with pride at ourselves and our steeds by the end of each session, rather than collapsing in a panicked heap. There were a few tears of relief to be sure, but we never felt the need to say “I can’t do that”, because we all trusted Liz enough to know she wouldn’t ask if we couldn’t do. Still, at the end of three days, I think we would all look back with disbelief at what we could do by day 3 – never having thought that was possible on arrival.

And then there’s the other stuff of course. The inspiration I got from watching riders that are much more advanced, getting advice, realising that everyone is on their own journey, even if they look to me like they’ve already arrived at the destination! The food. It’s always there – breakfast, lunch, dinner, tray bakes, biscuits, tea, coffee. If you want to comfort eat, you can comfort eat. Away from home for three days with no meals to cook, no work to go to, nothing to think about except having fun, meeting amazing new people. And, of course, having space to build a bond with your horse that would be very difficult to find anywhere else. There’s nothing like this. Five stars for the Equiteam team.

One of the best experiences I have ever had. It was incredible from start to finish. So well organised and ran by the amazing Lou and the high level of instruction and support from Liz so so encouraging and confidence giving. Bloody love ya's ❤️ 😘

User

No matter your journey, camp will get you there. Buy your ticket, get on your pony, enjoy the ride and leave feeling confident and ready to choose a new destination.

Thanks for a great experience.

User

Liz and Lou are genuinely amazing at what they do. This is my 2nd camp and again, blew my goals (literally) out the water! This is all thanks to Liz and Lou. I hand on heart would not be on the same journey with my horse if it wasn't for camp.

User

Just back from a fantastic three day camp. I've been struggling to move on from my comfort zone in the SJ ring, but desperate to do so. Felt no pressure to do anything I didn't feel ready to do, but did everything, and much more. A very calm, back to basic approach to my riding and understanding where the issues were developing, and how to deal with them effectively. Liz and Lou take such care of you, it was a proper holiday, all I needed to do was look after my horse and make lovely new friends. We will return for more. Thank you both very much. xx

User

It dosent matter what level of riding you are at you will enjoy one of these camps. The instruction is amazing and before you know it you will be pushing that comfort zone without even realising. Very well run, great food, great company and three days riding your pony what more could you possibly need.

User

I have had the best 3 days at camp. Truly a fantastic experience. I have been through all emotions in the last 3 days and came out smiling at the end. I can't wait until next year where I can do it all again. Thank you it was AWESOME.

User

I am just back from my first Confidence Camp and I have to say I can't rate it highly enough. I have learned so much over 3 days and realised there is a lot more I can do with the right support. Met some lovely people and made new friends that all have the same targets in gaining confidence with their riding and their horses no matter how big or how little the goal. The location is great, with great facilities. Liz Daniels is an amazing instructor and the support given by her is great. I have already started to work on keeping what I have learned going as I know that if I even miss a couple of days I will be back at square one and I am determined not to let this happen. The support from instructor and other "campers" is brilliant and I will hopefully make it to another camp in 2018. I would certainly recommend one of these camps to anyone who feels they need a more confidence with the riding and horse. Keep up the great work guys xx

User

Going from wishing a hole would swallow me in the SJ, to feelin like I could jump the moon in just 2 days! Love, love, love! This pair of ladies and can't wait for the next camp!

Liz is amazing! And have me the confidence to believe the impossible was possible and wasn't far out of reach!! And Lou's cooking....is to die for!! I can't think of 2 better people to run a confidence camp!

User

Fantastic experience highly recommend it. I had an amazing time with a great group of people from the instructors, helpers, Lou the cook and not to mention my fellow campers xx

User

FANTASTIC!!! 3 days at camp with Liz and a amazing bunch of girls all on different journeys with their horses and everyone of us left smiling. The encouragement, advice and positive attitude from Liz is brilliant. Can't wait to go again this coming from someone who had lost total confidence in jumping before Liz worked her magic. Also big thanks to Lou for keeping us fed and watered over the past 3 days.xx

User

Drove to meet Liz and Lou for the first time today feeling sick with nerves. Drove away cheesing from ear to ear feeling like my boy was the best boy in the world. Instruction given was the perfect blend of technical, empathetic, ‘just get on with it’ when needed and most of all incredibly encouraging. Will be stalking the Facebook page with finger poised to sign up for next event.

51 year old feeling like 21 again

Can’t think of one negative thing to say. Great venue, great company, great food, great facilities, great instruction. You’ll have to be quick to beat me to booking onto the next one. Liz and Lou rock.

User

Cant put into words how amazing camp is! Finally plucked up the courage to go after looking at it for the last 2 years. The atmosphere and the motivation from my fellow campers were amazing. Liz pulled me out of my comfort zone & through my fear and held me there with support and encouragement (and lots of more from other campers) untill I believed that I can do it! And i did, I can & I will!! Cannot believe how many demons I conquered and what I achieved. Liz just got every one of us and showed as much passion in helping each us achieve, whether it be to trot over a pole or fly round a xcountry course!

The set up, facilities & food are amazing, as is the lodge. Hot tub was well used to soothe the well worked muscles.

To anyone thinking about it, no matter what level u r at, u will not be disappointed. My only regret - that I didnt go sooner.

User

Camp was the most amazing experience. Liz is a great teacher, she knows exactly what you are capable of and brings the very best out of you and your horse. The people I met at Camp were so supportive, friendly and great fun, you feel part of their journey as they are very much part of yours. Driving over on Friday evening I would have taken any excuse to turn around and go home I was so scared, driving home on Monday evening I wanted to do it all again. If you get the chance to go to Camp, take it. I am so glad I did.

User

Amazing experience. I had let nerves totally ruin my riding and with the guidance and support from Liz, Lou and my camp mates I remembered to enjoy my riding and remind myself how much I loved spending time with my horse. I went from fear of a simple canter to jumping in school and x country. I found horse confidence Scotland Jane Brindle input really helpful and got some good tools to help with nerves. Now to keep it up ...

User

A totally awesome experience! Liz tailors her teaching and support to everyone individually, with great energy and honesty - an amazing talent when working in groups and with people and horses she's never met. She'll ask you to dig deep and push you out of your comfort zone every day but never ask you to do anything you're not capable of. Absolutely everyone achieves more than they thought they could - prepare yourself for those tears of joy!

Lou really is Wonder Woman! Not only does she provide fabulous home-made meals, awesome cakes, support and organisation - with great patience and flexibility to ensure everyone is happy and safe - she also finds time to check in with you, helps with setting up jumps; captures our awesome achievements on camera; and makes sure Liz has enough cups of tea and biscuits to keep her energy and voice in good shouting order, even when she's at the top of the hill!

Between them, with their energy, banter and stories, they create an environment where everyone mixes, relaxes, feels included, has fun, helps out and encourages each other.

I've been to three Camps now and my fourth is booked they are great value and they have enabled me to progress much further than I ever imagined. You'll create new and lasting friendships and have fabulous memories that will stay with you.

Liz and Lou take such care of you, it was a proper holiday, all I needed to do was look after my horse and make lovely new friends. We will return for more. Thank you both very much. xx

It dosent matter what level of riding you are at you will enjoy one of these camps. The instruction is amazing and before you know it you will be pushing that comfort zone without even realising. Very well run, great food, great company and three days riding your pony what more could you possibly need.

I have had the best 3 days at camp. Truly a fantastic experience. I have been through all emotions in the last 3 days and came out smiling at the end. I can't wait until next year where I can do it all again. Thank you it was AWESOME.

Fantastic experience highly recommend it. I had an amazing time with a great group of people from the instructors, helpers, Lou the cook and not to mention my fellow campers xx

Can’t think of one negative thing to say. Great venue, great company, great food, great facilities, great instruction. You’ll have to be quick to beat me to booking onto the next one. Liz and Lou rock.
